Hi. Can I apply this product to a pressure treated decking board? I think it's pine if I'm not wrong. I already sanded it several times with 180 then 400 because it splinters a lot. I'm going to use it as a window sill. Do I need to apply conditioner?
Hi Marianella, thank you for your question. Before coating pressure treated wood you want to let it dry for 6-8 weeks. After, we recommend using the water-based Behr Pre-Stain Wood Conditioner for acceptance of the stain and uniform results. You can then apply the stain to an interior window sill.
