This might be my first Austrian product. I enjoy the engineering design and instructions (all illustrations). Basically, attach bolts, washers and nuts loosely, then when done, tighten everything. Easy to move when assembled as weight is distributed.

I have been needing something to store my emergency supplies and winter vehicle supplies in for a long time. It keeps my gear outdoors safe, dry, and organized. I like the lock, the size, and the color. The twenty-year guarantee is a bonus. It did take me three days to assemble the product since I needed an extra person to help with some of the steps.

This Biohort deck box is very robust and functional, as well as attractive on your deck, dock or poolside. The powder coated galvanized steel panels are made in Austrian and German steelworks that supply German carmakers, so they are durable and high quality. The steel and fittings are water, UV, rust, mildew and rot resistant with stainless steel hardware and a 20-year limited warranty. Nice locking system with 2 keys to keep your items safe. Perfect for patio furniture cushions, pool toys, lawn games or camping equipment.

This is a nice metal box. It's very industrial looking with corrugated walls and bottom. It has a lock and a hydraulic lift for the top. It's not too heavy to move around but could be moved easier with help. It comes with instructions but the picture kind of instructions for your interpretation. The assembly may require assistance with the sides and the lid. Be careful with the sharp edges.

This deck box was very easy to assemble. Not a snap together box. This is a metal box, sleek design. Great for those smaller places where the wider boxes don't fit. I wish the instructions were also written and not just pictures. This is definitely a 2 person job but still easy nonetheless. This also comes with the tool that is needed for assembly. No other tools were necessary. This will be great to store a lot of stuff for the winter.

Biohort Leisure Time 51 Gallon Deck Box is very high quality product. We got the Dark Gray it almost looks dark Brown until you put that color up to it. I knocked one star off only because it is not easy to install, very meticulous. took over 4 hours and really needed more than picture instructions. Nice nut driver tool that was sent with it, helped. If you can have it built. do so.

I just assembled my Biohort Leisure Time 51 Gallon Deck Box -in Dark Gray. As you can see by the pictures the storage box is beautiful. This product is so well engineered. The assembly is not complicated, but still will take about 45 minutes to complete. The instructions were very good and in color. You can also scan a QR code and view an assembly video. This deck box comes complete with all the parts and even a tool to help aid in assembly. I plan on storing pool toys in the box. I almost forgot to say it has a single handle locking mechanism with keys and a hydraulic dampener that helps lifting the lid or prevents the lid from slamming.

Wanting something sturdier and a change from those plastic-y, resin type deck boxes, we chose this Biohort Leisuretime 51 gal. Metallic Steel Deck Box. It comes ready to assemble and includes a sturdy metal top, metal sides and bottom and all the required hardware. It took awhile to assemble and is kind of a pain to do. Lots of screws and washers and they are small and a little hard to manage despite the handy tool that is provided. The instructions were okay, parts were a little confusing as it is all pictures and some pics could have been clearer. It may have been easier had the name badge sticker they add to the front panel was put in the correct place. After completion, mine is upside down (see pic) which caused some confusion during assembly as it was not placed up to the right of the handle as in the diagram. Once complete, it is sturdy, nice looking and secure. Comes with a lock and key, plastic feet, a strut for the lid. Overall a nice, classy looking storage box.

My Biohort LeisureTime 51 gallon storage box arrived last Friday just in time for me to assemble over the weekend. It was well-packaged with markings on the carton to clearly show where to use a knife or blade to open it to avoid damage to the contents, and the instruction book warned to avoid placing the contents on hard or abrasive surfaces to avoid scratches during assembly. It also warned to always wear work gloves, long sleeves and safety glasses because the parts contained sharp edges. I noted, however, that the individual in the instructional video wore none of these items while demonstrating assembly. Moreover, I found it virtually impossible to hold or manipulate the tiny screws, washers, and nuts while wearing work gloves so I quickly dispensed with those as well as long sleeves and safety glasses because they became too burdensome during the 4-hour assembly process. I recommend watching the instructional video that is tied to a quick response (QR) code included with the instruction book because the instructions are all pictorial with no written directions. Even after watching the video, I misunderstood the instructions and had to assemble and disassemble multiple sections several times. So, I recommend viewing and understanding all the instructions completely before assembling any parts. For example, step 1 circles two parts that should be attached with the small screws and shows eight other places where the screws should be mounted and this is repeated with two other parts on step 5. However, on step 7 you find out that the circled instruction with holes to insert screws meant that screws were not to be inserted in that steps but only at the holes where there was a check mark. So, I had to remove eight tiny screws and reinsert them with additional parts added to the joint. Also, the instructions recommend only hand tightening the screws until everything is assembled, but I found that my 72-year old fingers were not nimble enough to handle the tiny screws and I had to rely on the socket wrench provided with the package to tighten screws once I got them started (which was very difficult). It took me a full four hours to assemble the box, yet I was really happy with the final result and it proved to be very sturdy and attractive. I really liked the locking mechanism and the fact that it included plastic covers for the all the screw tips to minimize scratching contents inside the box.

Straight forward assembly. Sturdy construction. Appears to be able to withstand the elements.
