No, it wouldn't be flat to the walls because of the hinges (standard 3 1/2"x3 1/2") and installation specific. Approximate degree of the opening will be 120 degrees.

Does the passive door still swing out?
In the configuration that you're referenced to ("Both active"), both slabs are active and are fixing with ball catches. In configurations "Left/Right active" the second slab is fixed with flush bolt, and it can be opened if needed.
