Thank you for your question. We would require more information to determine if our Connector is designed for that use. Please contact our Customer Support Team at 877-277-7755 and reference this review.
Dear LeoLeo - the standard setting on a boiler or water heater is 140 deg. Fahrenheit. Unless you have a recirculating system in your water distribution system, the constant water temperature at your fixture or appliance should be below 140. All water connectors, per the industry product standards, are tested and certified at 140 deg, with intermittent (when water is flowing) to 180 deg. Boiling point for water is 212 deg. Fahrenheit. If your water heater is producing temperatures of 212 deg., please check/adjust your appliance setting. If you have additional questions please feel free to contact one of our Product Experts toll-free at 877-272-7755.
