BrassCraft 3/8 in. Female Compression Inlet x 3/8 in. O.D. Compression Outlet 1/4-Turn Straight Ball Valve controls water flow to household plumbing fixtures - faucets, toilets, dishwashers, icemakers, washing machines, etc. The straight valve is most often used where the water pipe enters the room from the floor. With a 90° turn of the valve handle, you are able to stop the flow of water leading to the plumbing fixture, allowing for maintenance and repair without shutting off the water to the entire home.

Can you use on pex
The inlet is female 3/8" OD compression which is designed to connect to the 3/8" OD compression outlet of a water stop valve. The outlet is standard 3/8" OD compression and could be used with a PEX faucet riser (P1-20A) or a PEX toilet riser (P1-12DL). This stop would not work with 3/8" nominal PEX piping.
Can this valve connect to the existing angle valve?

Could this be used to reduce water pressure for a non-electric bidet? I'd be using it between the t-valve connector (7'8"x7'8"x3/8") and metal hose to the bidet attachment. (Reducing flow at the wall impacted the toilet too much.)

Can I use this to connect a 3/8 copper pipe to a 3/8 braided stainless steel hose running to a dishwasher? The copper pipe is cut and does NOT have a connector. If this would not work, what should I use? I do not know how to solder.

Can I use plastic tubing with this valve?

Does the female end come with a rubber gasket similar to what supply lines often have?

Yes it does - I used one this morning to attach to a supply valve that no longer turns completely off - it just screws on and seals with the rubber gasket - the line to the toilet or sink attaches to the other end
No. Both fittings are equipped with 3/8" brass compression washers.
Yes, it does. I'm curious why there are 4 answers saying otherwise. You can see in the 360� view that one end has a copper ring that can receive a 3/8" O.D. pipe, and the other end has a rubber washer and can only attach to a compression seat.
No rubber gaskets, it has a locking ring that works like a gasket, so there won't be any leaks
