Can these doors be trimmed down on the top and bottom?
Hello Kathleen, we don't recommend trimming as it may compromise the structure of the door.
Can the door be trimmed down to a 34' ( one inch on each side) and 82' (one inch off top & bottom)?
Trimming the door is not recommended as it may compromise its structure. The manufacturer provides specific dimensions for the door (36" x 84") and its corresponding rough opening (36 to 36 3/8" x 84 to 84 7/8") to ensure proper fit and function. Altering these dimensions, even slightly, could affect the door's stability, integrity, and its ability to seal correctly.
