How do you reverse levers for right hand and left hand doors?
There are instructions and a tool for this in the box. There is a set screw at the bottom of the lever that you will unscrew and flip the lever.
Does these work for right and left hand swing door

Is there a step needed to get the lock to latch? It won't latch and stay closed (tried on multiple doors)
In a situation like yours there are two possible problems: (1) the strike plate on the door jamb is not in the right position, it could be to far back on the jamb to allow the latch pin to slide into it. or (2) the door latch has the wrong backset, which is the distance from the door edge to the center of the lock. For interior doors it is 2 3/8 inches for entry doors its 2 3/4 inches. If an interior door lock is used on an exterior door the latch will not reach the strike plate and hold the door closed. Check your lock set to see if it's for an interior or exterior door. Mike
How do you tighten the handle when it loosens over time
There are small set screws located at the base of the lever, where it attaches to the door. Use the included Allen wrench (or a suitably sized one if it's not included) to tighten these screws. This should eliminate any wobble or looseness in the handle.
