Can this be mounted to a tiled base without using a fiberglass base
In theory, it can be, but your walls must be perfectly plumb and your base needs to be built to the measurements of the enclosure. What's the offset for the drain? It's not in the installation guide. How can i plan my rough plumbing? Typically it's the "C" measurement
This kit does not include the shower base. The shower base that works with this Prism Lux shower enclosure is the DLT-2038380 and the drain location is 12" by 12" off of the corner of the base. how to install the door seal on hinge side? the instructions dont show this... i dont know how to cut/ install the seal on the hinge side... does part of the seal cover the hinge? any pictures would also be helpful

When installing this unit, where exactly is caulking required? Should the unit be caulked only on the outside of the enclosure, where the stationary glass meets the tile wall and shower base? Or should it also be caulked on the inside of the enclosure? The installation instructions aren't super clear on this. Thanks!
You will need to caulk where the stationary panel meets the base and along the wall. Basically, any place that is stationary should be caulked to avoid leaking. Caulk on the outside of the unit. Please remember that with caulk, a thin bead properly placed is better than a thick, untidy caulk job. Only on the outside. The reason as explained to me is to prevent water from being trapped between the caulking and starting to mold/mildew, and if it is in the outside then there is continuously new water on the inside the help water from becoming stagnant and starting to mold.
should I get a 38 inch pan
I think so. I’m pretty sure that the pan need to be bigger than the doors. These are great shower doors. We are tall and it is super nice not to have a bar across the door opening.

No, the doors will not fit that size base.

can these doors be used with the base? I'm wanting to extend the glass to the floor and install a floor drain. Would that be possible, or is the glass somehow mounted to base?
Installing directly to the floor is becoming a very popular installation method and the Prism Lux will work for such an installation. You will still want to follow the specific measurements in the manual for placement of the side panels and make certain that the floor slopes towards the drain. Also, special attention should be taken to seal the bottom of the Prism Lux with clear, waterproof 100% silicone caulk, especially over any grout lines.
