I have 14 Echo tap-n-go string heads that fit my older SRM2100 & SRM2400 gas trimmers ... with those string heads work with the DSRM2100 trimmer. Looking at the owner's manuals on-line it seems the rapid loader head comes off like the SRM2100.

Hi, can anybody please take the trouble to measure the distance from where the string comes out of the eyelet, to the bottom of the bumper? My old B&D model was about 3/4", but I just bought one at Wallymart and it is 1-3/4". I feel that's too high. Thank
