Since this has a bottom, does it prevent grass and weeds to grow through to where your plants are? Do you still need mes
Hi. No mesh. I lined the bottom with an inch of mulch. The rest is filled with soil, manure, perlite, vermiculite, and peat moss. I have not had any weeds growing. I have used this every year to plant many different crops of vegetables. I hope this helps
Can it be placed on a deck or a patio? Or does it have to be placed in soil only?
