Eagle Acid Stains create marbled variations of color on cured concrete by chemical reaction with the minerals in the concrete. Every concrete floor will react with its own unique pattern. Once sealed with clear sealer, your floor will pop with an elegant look. Acid Staining is a tedious process. Eagle concrete dyes should be considered if a simple process is important.

Our products come as is, and we do not customize our products per request. Once you have completed all steps in the Acid Staining process, you can follow the exact same steps again, and apply a second coat of Acid Stain. Applying a second coat of acid stain without completing all steps as instructed can lead to undesired outcomes.

The Acid Stains can be diluted up to a 1:1 mix with water to reduce the amount of color produced. Always do a test area as concrete will vary in its reactivity and the color it generates.
Yes - Just mix one gallon of stain with one gallon of water to get a light garnet. Then, if perchance you want it darker just repeat the same application six hours later.
The Acid Stains will work on most types of uncoated concrete including concrete block. The color will vary due to mix design and a test area should be performed on the block to see if you get an acceptable color.
The Eagle Acid Stain needs to be applied to concrete that is a least 28 days old. The Etch & Clean will need to be used if the slab was power troweled. It is used to open the porosity floor to accept the stain.
In my use, YES. I etched more than the directions said to and the stain still did not take. I used probably 50/50 mix of water and etch and clean and let sit more than 5 minutes. After whole process the stain did not take and I was able to rub or scratch off. I read directions numerous times and watched videos.
We are a manufacturer, not an installer. We sell our stains as a DIY project. If you do not feel comfortable doing the project yourself, I would suggest searching for decorative concrete specialists in your area and get quotes from 2-3 different contractors.
