Can this be installed outside a covered area on the ceiling. Not exposed to the sun or elements but it is outside.
Although some customers have reported success using these wall planks for exterior porch applications, they are only certified for interior use due to the thinness of the planks (1/4 inch). In summary, you may have success if you live in a low-moisture area, but it’s generally recommended to choose a product specifically rated for exterior use.
Can these be used in a bathroom above the vanity?
Yes, you can use this in the bathroom, except in areas prone to splashing. Our planks are made from thermally modified wood, which is naturally more stable and durable without the use of chemicals. When installing in the bathroom, please leave a small gap between the boards (1/32" to 1/16") to allow the wood to "breathe.
Alot of people are asking to use this product to cover a porch ceiling, do you offer a 1/2 inch thick version of the thermo treated planks? tounge and groove possibly?
Unfortunately we do not offer these boards in 1/2" thickness. Some customers have successfully used these wall planks for exterior porches, they are only certified for interior use due to their 1/4-inch thickness.
