We would recommend around 90, but I would say all guns are different,t and we Advise testing your specific gun and nail before installing

Can this be treated painted with clear coat. I love it But its got a woody odor thats tough to smell as its where my headboard of my bed is
The smell you're referring to is the cooked resin from the wood during the thermal modification process. While sometimes there can be a slight initial odor this should go away within a few days to a week. If you don't want to wait for the smell to naturally go away, you can lightly spray the face of the planks with a clear furniture lacquer (available in any Home Depot store).
do I need to leave a gap between the planks, sides and top and bottom of plank?
If you go to additional resources > Instructions / Assembly you can see our fully recommended install instructions. But yes, we recommend leaving a hair (very small space) in between each board so they can breathe.
Does this company install it
No, each box comes with the installation instructions and nails but does not do the installation. Most buyers install the planks themselves, but you could always hire a professional.

Yes, you may attach planks directly to the studs when the space between them is 12" or 16" (not more).
You don’t need drywall, but you need some kind of a backer because the boards aren’t very long, and they aren’t tongue and groove
