What kind of shower pan should be purchased to fit this shower enclosure
Hello and thank you for your inquiry. GW does not have specific pan recommendations. GW offers a unique modular system that is as close to a custom fit shower as possible without the high prices and this is why it is essential to only order once tiling is complete. For GW 90° enclosures, the dimensions of the enclosure can be determined by the base and therefore the shower may be ordered prior to tiling. However, customers must consider the possibility of tiling adding to the overall width and depth of the enclosure. Typically, we advise ordering a shower enclosure that is 1” less in both width and depth of the pan; however, due to the wide variety of tile thickness, threshold widths, etc., this is not always accurate. This is why we strongly suggest waiting until the pan/base and tile is installed prior to ordering. You can then simply measure where you want the enclosure to sit on the threshold and then determine the exact size of the enclosure that will suit your space. GW carries a wide variety of panel sizes so if you are not seeing the dimensions you require through one of our online retailers, please reach out to GW directly at inquiries@glasswarehouse.us and we can be sure to point you in the right direction! Are the fixed glass panels included or is this just a door?

The pan I had installed is 48x34. After tiling, my dimensions from the tile to the edge of the pan are now 47x33. I'm assuming the 32" depth would still work, but will the 48" width now be too long?

In order for the 32" depth to suit, please note that if this return panel finishes perfectly to the outside edge of the threshold, then you would only require a 2.75” threshold however if the panel does not finish perfectly to the outside edge, then a 3" threshold is the minimum requirement. If you do not have at least 2.75" of space on the threshold, on the door side, behind the outside edge of where the 32" panel will sit, then this will not suit your space. We plan on ordering the 60x32 shower door with return. Is the 32-in return The actual width of the panel? Or is that the depth of the shower? If it's the depth of the shower then we're probably looking at 30 in?

The 32" depth consists of a single panel that measures 31.875", for a finished depth of 32" once installed. The dimensions provided are of the glass enclosure and do not necessarily corelate to the size of the pan that you will require.
