Can these blinds be cut down for custom sizing?
These are not cut to width blinds. Cutting them unfortunately will void the warranty. They can be shorted using the instructions provided.
Does this model have a metal headrail?
No. The headrail material is vinyl.
Does this have a metal head rail, or is it vinyl also?
The blind has a vinyl headrail.
Can this blind be mounted outside the window frame?
This blind can be mounted outside the frame on the wall but please note that the depth of the bracket is only 1 1/4" so you would need to measure the depth of your molding to be sure the that the blind will not hit the molding. The instructions for mounting are on the website.
Can the blinds be 57?? long?
64" Long blinds can be shortened without an issue up to 20 slats, however, this will void the warranty. Shortening involves locking and unlocking the spring tension which if not done properly could effect functionality. Please call customer service for instructions; 844-887-5132
I need a 29 1/2 wide X 42 long blind, but when I select this and add it to my shopping cart the length automatically changes to 64 long. Why does it do this, and can I get the 201/2 Wide blind in the 42 Length??
This shade is not available in a shorter length. It can be shortened by you but only 20 slats can be removed for the cordless mechanism to work properly. I removed a broken slat from the blind and all but one of the lift cords disappeared. Is this difficult to fix?
You will need to rethread the lift cord to fill the gap between the slats. If you cannot rethread it properly, please feel free to return shade for a new one.
I need a 24 x 78 inch mini blind. do you have any thing in that length?
