Gustavo - This is a standby power package that has a manual switch that connects to your existing electrical panel. Are you referring to the generator itself or the generator hooked up to the outlet going to the switch? Also, what is the total amps required to run each heater? You can use an electrical cord with a 3 way splitter from the twist lock plug outlet and two from the standard 120 outlets. You would not want to start all of them all at one time. Thank you for your question.
Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. The Honda part number for this cable is 06581-104-050AH. You can contact your local authorized Honda dealer and give them that part number and you could order one that way. https://powerequipment.honda.com/dealer-locator. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future.
Emma - There are different electrical codes and regulations in each city, state and country. What works for the US won’t necessarily work in Ghana. Thank you for your question.
Hi Emma, Every country has its own electrical codes and regulations, so what works for the US won’t necessarily work in Ghana.
John - The wheel kit in this kit is part number 06425-ZS9-020AH. It is mfg. by Agri-Fab for Honda. This is the best of three wheel kits for this generator. Great for easy maneuvering around. Thank you for your question.
Shawn - That is a BIG NEVER. Gas generators cannot be run indoors. Please read your owner's manual before using a generator for your safety and others. Thank you for your question.
Steph - Yes you can parallel two EU3000 is generators for additional power, BUT the most you will be able to get is the maximum per receptacle. So with just one 30 Amp receptacle you're getting about 24 Amps total, but with two you will be able to get the full 30 Amp out of the one receptacle. The Reliance Switch is #32316-30216A2. Thank you for your queston.
Nate - The four prong receptacle goes into the outlet box and the three prong cord goes into the generator. By doing this in case you wanted to upgrade your generator you would not have to change out the outlet box or cord depending on what you upgraded to. Thank you for your question.
Nate, After looking at the pictures the cable is correct, it has the proper Nema L 5-30 connectors. The power inlet box is wrong. This generators output requires a PB-31 power inlet box not a PB-30. PB-31 is a three prong 125V 30 amp rated at 3750 watts.
Hello, A 120V generator will work very well with a transfer switch, but it just would not be able to power 240V applications. Most household appliances are 120V. Please work with your local electrician to wire it properly. He/she won’t have any problems. Home backup is a common application for the EU3000is.
LostNAlvin - This package is intended to run specific 120V circuits. This will not run your entire electrical panel. That is not the intention on using this package. You would have a licensed electrician install this transfer switch and tie into a few specific circuits to run like your refrigerator, freezer, fan. Please see the bullet points to see what this package benefits are. Thank you for your question.
That is a good question. If you look at the generator you will see a 30 amp twist lock receptacle with three slots (Hot Neutral and Ground). That is a 120V outlet. But if you look at the cord and the transfer switch they both have 4 prongs (Hot-A, Hot-B, Neutral, and Ground). That is a 240V transfer kit. That kit will not work with that generator the way it is depicted in the image and would need some modifications. I can't find a good 120V setup in the market. The only good option is to buy my own generator, transfer switch, receptacle, cord, and cord caps. Then yes you could use this transfer switch with a 120-volt generator.
