Designed for use with impact drive tools, the 6-point style of socket helps to reduce the chance of rounding fasteners under high-torque applications and features chamfered lead-ins for quick and easy placement onto fasteners. The sockets also feature a shallow broach design on deep sockets prevents fasteners from getting lodged deep in the socket. A pin hole at the base of each socket for use with pin and O-ring allows for a secure attachment to drive tools. What sizes come in this?
Does the 3/8 set (44 piece) skip any sizes deep or shallow?
Will these sockets fit the Ryobi model PCL265 18 volt 1/2 inch Impact Wrench?
Elton, Yes, our impact sockets are designed to work on battery and pneumatic impact wrenches that use a hog rig (which the PCL265 uses) or detent pin style of retention.
Well, I'm sorry to inform you that I bought a set of these sockets and they DO NOT fit the Ryobi PCL265 impact wrench. The shaft, or whatever you call it, of the wrench is too large for the sockets. Immediately returned them for refund.
Well, it seems that I was wrong. I called Ryobi to ask how to find sockets that will fit the wrench. The representative I spoke with informed me that you actually have to use a hammer to beat the socket onto the wrench. Tried it and it worked. Go figure.
What are the case dimensions? I’m wanting to know if the case will fit in a Milwaukee PACKOUT drawer.
