Work Gloves, Cut Level 4, Touchscreen, Large, 2-Pair

PROS The work gloves have a nice fit with just the right amount of elastic to keep them snug around your hand and fingers. The black coating provides extra grip and a bit of moisture resistance when handling damp items. The extra reinforcing between the thumb and the index finger should help the wear. CONS Made in China (would rather it be made in USA).

These gloves fit snugly yet allow the wearer to pick up small items. The protective coating protects the hands from cuts and scrapes. I like the bright color cuffs which make the gloves easy to pick out from a tool bucket or tool box. The fingers are touchscreen usable allowing the wearer to answer the phone or use the computer without taking the gloves off. A pair of these gloves would be an asset to anyone;s tool box or bucket!!

Because of the 4 cut rating, I did try a pocket knife that was somewhat sharp (not like my cooking knives). With my hand inside, I was too cautious to apply A4 pressure but I tried to cut with only firm pressure in one stroke. Since I could not accurately trace the same path, 1 stroke in 4 areas (including 1 on the back of the hand) would have to do. None of my slices seemed to penetrate. I took my hand out of the glove and laid it on the table and tried to cut it on the palm with more pressure. No signs of cut. The Foam Nitril foam palm of this glove is rated Excellent, Excellent, and Very Good for Dry-Grip, Wet-Grip and Oil-Grip respectfully. To boil all these ratings down will probably be the task of for the safety officer for the company you work for. They will also probably provide, or sell you, the gloves you will need. The ANSI A4 Cut rating is recommended for: Appliance Manufacturing, Automotive, Construction, Glass Handling, Machining, Metal handling, Metal Stamping, and Paper Production. This probably covers most conditions of DIY, home-owner projects. So how do you select your glove. Fit and Feel should rate high. This glove was supposed to be a size XL (10) but came as a L (9). I have Large to X-large hands with medium length fingers. This glove was a snug fit. Making a fist was not comfortable if held for a long period of time. Holding my shovel was not uncomfortable. My fingers are about 5/8inch from the end to the glove fingers. My long fingered, medium size hand, test person fit all the way to the end. My huge hand, test person could not get the glove on. This glove was supposed to be touchscreen with the gloves on, I tried to use my medium size cell phone and was unable to type anything due to the glove touching unwanted characters. I may be testing a different glove. I did not have a hot day to test if my hands were going to sweat. Being in a warm house for an hour did not seem to make my hands sweat. The gloves are not waterproof. I also tested putting my hand into Ice cubes. The gloves were better than holding ice cube without a glove, but the cold was immediately felt. Latex and Nitrile: Latex and its synthetic version, nitrile (suitable for those with latex allergies), are very lightweight and allow easy movement of fingers and palms. I like the gloves and they would have been wonderful for my project to scratch build an 8x12 foot storage shed out of wood. The steep slope of the roof would have allowed me to experience less slipping than with my bare hands as I moved about putting on shingles.

The KLEIN TOOLS WORK GLOVES, CUT LEVEL 4, TOUCHSCREEN, X-LARGE, 2-PAIR, HIGH-VISIBILITY YELLOW KNIT/ BLACK COATING/ ORANGE CUFF THREAD are a great product for the job site or around the yard. These gloves have a soft textured palm and fingers to help keep your grip. You can use these with your smartphone, I found that it does work, its not perfect and you will need to remove your glove to use finger recognition. The gloves fit well and are machine washable. Overall the quality of the product is very good and I would recommend this product.

These gloves are true fit to the size. The nitrile dip between the thumb and finger help with gripping pipes and the fingertips actually work on the touchscreen of your phone so no need to take your gloves off just to use your phone anymore. These gloves grip very well. The bright color helps ensure you see your hands even in dark environments. I use these gloves for demo due to the protections they provide based on the ANSI/ISEA rating. The gloves hold up pretty well but do wear down over time. They definitely have protected my hands from getting cuts and scrapes so I have purchased multiple packs of these.

These gloves initially appeared to be just what I was looking for in a high quality, well fitting and durable cut resistant glove that most of all "fit well". That was until I tried them on. There were two pair of X-Large knit gloves that had a black "grip" coating on what I assumed was the "palm side" of the gloves ; where you would need the grip. The gloves didn't fit or feel right as if the coating was applied to the wrong side of glove. I even tried to swap hands so that the "coating surface" was on the back/top of hand but it still didn't fit/feel right. It could be cut of glove and thumb position or just the coating, but with coating on palm side ; it would bunch up . Even not on hand, the glove appears to be coated on wrong surface

Two thumbs up for these Klein work gloves! Fit is excellent and quality seems very high. I took a picture to show the size of these XL gloves. The touchscreen capability is highly functional and a nice add. Materials of construction per the tag is 49% HPPE; 26% Nitrile; 16% Polyester; and 9% Spandex. The cuff is also a good fit - not overly tight, but snug enough for this style of cut. The little white tags are a bit annoying but overall very pleased with this product.

It's so nice to wear gloves and not have to take them off to use my Smartphone. These gloves are true to size and they have a great fit. I love the highly visible color and that they are cut resistant. I wore them in very cold weather and they worked well with my touch screen and my hands didn't get cold. We've tried other touch screen gloves and either they work well but they are so thin your hands get cold or they are warm and don't work well with your screen. These gloves offer both warmth and performance. I highly recommend them. Great job Klein Tools!

These Klein Tool work touchscreen gloves fit tight to your hands as if it is another layer to your hands. They are flexible which makes it easy to pick up small nuts and bolts, and they protect my hands from all the elements. They are brightly colored so you can spot them when not in use, especially among tools and equipment in the field. I highly recommend these gloves.

I waited to review this one until I had owned and used the product over a period of time. What I found was that the gloves do work on touch screen as advertised. What I overlooked though was that they still need to be removed should you use finger scan technology in order to view apps on your phone. I also found they can't really be used for activating the iPhone Home button (apart from fingerprint recognition) like when touching it to bring the phone out of sleep mode or attempting to exit an app.
