There's no difference. Satin and frosted glass are the same type of glass.
The black stain looks more blacnk than brown, it is the door actually black?

The door is 36". The sidelight is 14". For the unit size you will need to add 3 inches for the jamb. The suggested rough opening is 53-1/2" wide by 82" tall.
