- This product can be installed over radiant heat concrete subfloors. In-floor radiant components must be a minimum of ½ in. (13mm) below flooring and heating system should not allow floor surface temperature to exceed 85 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius). Heating system should be operational for at least two weeks prior to installation to calibrate temperature settings. Flooring cannot be laid directly over radiant heating mats. Please consult with the radiant heat system manufacturer to ensure that the system is compatible with vinyl flooring.

What is the load limit of the Herring bone Brookfield Marble 22 MIL x 4.7” W x 28”?

Can this flooring be installed over Thermosoft heating mat that is installed with floor leveler on top of heating mat.
Thanks for your question. Our Lifeproof planks and tiles should only be installed over hydro or electric elements buried at least 1/2" below the surface of a concrete subfloor. They should not be installed over radiant films or mats.
Can this flooring be placed over existing 12x12 tile flooring that is in good shape?
Thanks for your question. It's fine to install this product over tile as long as it's in good condition, well adhered to the substrate, and follows the other subfloor guidelines (flatness, moisture, etc.) If the grout is larger than 1/4", you do want to fill it in.
Does the Grandview Marble herringbone tile have a painted bevel like the 12x24 tile? From the pictures it appears the herringbone does not.
Thanks for your question. The herringbone version of Grandview Marble has a small microbevel. It is not painted.
What transition trim do you use for grandview marble?. I do not see a specific one for Grandview marble.

Can this be installed directly over tile flooring?
Thanks for your question. As long as the tile is in good shape, well adhered to the subfloor, and follows the other installation guidelines (flatness, moisture, etc.) it should be fine to install our Lifeproof on top. If the grout lines are larger than 1/4", they do need to be filled in/leveled.
Must it be installed in a herringbone pattern or can you install it like a normal wood plank floor?
Thank you for your question- Brookfield marble can be laid in a straight pattern. You would need to do a row of A's, then a row of B's.
How thick is this? I need it to match 3/4” flooring. How much underlayment?
Thanks for your question. This plank is 7 mm thick. No additional underlayment can be used with the herringbone planks.
