Can the hinges be ordered in a rubbed bronze finish? Also, does this have a multi-point latching system?
This door only comes with the satin nickel hinges as shown on HomeDepot.com. You can order it with different hinge finish, but this would need to be special ordered in-store at your local Home Depot. Also, this does not come with a multi-point locking system.
Please provide what significant difference, besides an included screen, Model Z020539R at 160 lbs has from Model Z001616R, with Low E, at 224 lbs?
Model# Z001616R has Low-E clear glass and does not come with a screen. Model# Z020539R is standard clear glass and does come with a screen. Those are the only differences between the two models.
Does this door utilize wood or MDF? If it contains MDF, is it MR MDF or regular MDF? Finally, which parts of the door are made with MDF?
This patio door unit contains no MDF components. The only wood used is the lockblock in the interior of the door slabs (between the skins, to hold the knob and deadbolt). The frame is a non-MDF composite material as well as the substrate of the sill.
What is the Performance Grade of this door?
The U-factor is 0.30 and the SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) is 0.15.
Do the blinds tilt and go up and down as well?
Yes, the blinds raise, lower and tilt.

The unit dimension is the outside-to-outside dimension of the frame. For brickmould dimensions, just add 2.5" to the unit width and 1.25" to the unit height.

They won't sell you the screen separately, but will sell you a unit that includes it for $500 more. Expensive screen!
