Better than expected

As soon as i got it out of the box and assembled, i went back inside and ordered another one, in a different color. These are very heavy duty. Pick up sets if matching stands too. You will be pleased with this jack.

The last Jack you will need to ever buy

This jack shares the same cast as a few others so I decided to try it out. No paint errors or major damage, some grease but to be expected. no major handle play, and came pre-assembled. When getting a new jack you should ALWAYS check the hydraulic fluid. Fortunately mine was filled and did not need bleeding on arrival, very encouraging. takes about 2-3 pumps to teach the bottom of the average sedan. Be advised, it is very heavy and will not be something you want to pick up often or at all.

This Maasdam floor jack is hefty at 78 pounds (35.5 Kg), appears solidly built, was smooth in operation, and comfortably easy and quick in both raising and lowering my full-size car. To minimize the jack profile beneath the lifting surface, that end of the device has fixed rollers that make it harder to reposition the jack sideways. (This is customary for floor jacks and there are swivel casters at the other end of the jack.) Instructions did include future maintenance tasks such as adding hydraulic oil and purging any air from the hydraulic system. I noted a couple of suggestions and complaints. Some of these are specific to this jack, and some are common to the breed: - Metal wheels, while rugged, lacked any rubberized protective coating, so use on any textured surface (such as a driveway or street) will scratch through the painted wheel surface and may be a vector for future rust. - Jack saddle (lifting surface) is bare metal, lacking the rubberized gripping and protective surface that is a feature of some of the other jacks I have encountered. A 6" square of corrugated cardboard between jack and car can provide substitute protection. - Packaging barely survived its trip to me - strapping continued to hold it together, but the box was torn up and had worn through when delivered. - Supplied instructions were skimpy with regard to assembling the two-piece handle. "Fasten the Upper handle to the Lower Handle" isn't helpful when the diagrammed package contents don't differentiate which piece is "Upper" or "Lower" Fortunately the permutations were limited and I could figure out the omitted information. I was also bemused by the instructions "Refer to the vehicle manufacturer's owner's manual to locate the approved lifting point on the vehicle", but both the owner's manual and the aftermarket service manual had only references to the placement for the included scissors jack intended for changing tires. - When using a laterally centered jacking point, the supplied handle bumper was too low on the handle for its intended purpose (to protect the vehicle finish where it might contact the jack handle), and was not movable. Overall, I really liked this jack and found it to be a worthwhile addition to my shop.

The MAASDAM POW’R LIFT 3-ton Low Profile Floor Jack with Speedy Lift is built with precision and strength to be a hard-working piece of machinery. This low-profile floor jack is heavy (78.1 lbs.) to move about. It will be stationed on the closed side of my parking shed where it can be rolled out over the paved surface to be placed beneath the vehicle being serviced. The 4-castoring wheels built into the jack allow it to be moved about on the pavement with the jack-handle secured in place. The jack is powerful to lift vehicles quickly and lower them smoothly. It is a good addition to my automotive tool box.

This is a pretty hefty looking jack. Assembly was easy. You put the handle together and fasten together using a bolt with a 10mm head. The handle slides into position and is held in place by a bolt with a 17mm head. I had this jack assembled in under two minutes including finding a 10mm wrench and putting my tools away. This jack has a nice range of motion allowing it to be low enough to slip under the rocker panels of low cars and lift the cars high enough to facilitate a tire rotation. As a side note, I don’t trust any hydraulic jack without using jack stands. It only takes an O-ring failure to cause a collapse. This jack is good enough to help out with most cars, although I’m skeptical about the 6000 pound rating. I experienced some flex in the frame of the jack when lifting the rear of my F-250. I was using the tool on my level concrete driveway. That amount of stress was able to flex the jack enough to lift one of the casters off of the ground. See the video. This jack did successfully lift both front wheels of the F-250 (Diesel/Heavy) at the same time. It also lifted both rear wheels at the same time. This is useful if a vehicle needs to be put on jackstands. This jack was able to slip under the pinch-weld of my Mustang GT and lift it high enough to get both wheels on the same side off of the ground which is helpful for tire rotations. This jack does a nice job of letting you control how fast it comes down. I was able to lower heavy loads at fast or slow speeds. At a low enough price point, this jack is adequate for a hobbyist. Pros should keep shopping.

This jack is useful to maintain all of my various vehicles. The best thing about it for me is that it has a very low profile so it can get under a modern car even if that car has a flat tire. On the other hand it has enough lift to get the wheels off the ground on my 1973 Ford F250 4X4. The orange color make it easy to see under the vehicle for positioning. Another nice touch is the lift saddle rotates on a bearing. This lets the jack move with the vehicle as it is raised. This my second jack and having two makes a big difference when you are rotating tires. With two jacks you can raise both ends of a car or truck and switch the tires front to back at the same time.

Low profile, easy to move, easy to assemble very sturdy and stores with no problem it has Avery speedy lift as well. I received this for my son and husband. They are so happy with it! They are forever in the garage working on a car. They have commented on several occasions how much they like it. They don’t usually say much about what goes on out there so I know it wAs a big hit!

Wow, the Maasdam Pow'R Lift 3 ton Low Profile Jack is a DYI garage mechanics dream. First of all it is a low profile jack so any vehicles, or boat trailers with a flat tire, you can easily slide right under the deflated tire and jack it up. Its very smooth in its pumpimg operation and you will have anything up with fewer strokes. Its 3 ton capacity makes a heavy duty effort a breeze and can lift both rear wheels up easily. The long break down handle is great for reaching deep under carriage areas. Really well built for years of service.

I never know until I’m parked at home next day and calling someone out gets expensive. This is a commercial grade Jack. I could do it myself if I only had a good jack. Well now I do.
