If I have a long run, like 30’ of this 6” duct, and I install a booster fan to boost airflow through, what CFM can this flexible duct handle? What CFM will be too much and cause it to fall apart?
6" flexible duct is typically rated at 75-80 CFMs,depending on the static pressure this may change.
Can I install it over a 4 bathroom fan outlet or do I need a 4-to-6 inch increaser adapter?

What is the core made of? I see there are a variety of cores like H&C lists theirs as: "Double Ply Black Polyester."
The Core is Two plies of polyester film that encapsulated galvanized steel wire helix.
Possible to peal back insulation, cut inner tube and attach to elbow so insulation will now cover elbow? Or attach to elbow and back inner tube though so elbow is covered?

Can I use this duct to insulate aluminum ac duct by just pulling it over the metal
It is not recommend to be installed over existing duct. You may need to insulate the pipe with Duct Wrap or an Insulted Duct Sleeve. These are designed for your situation.
Is the insulation labeled on outside as required by some building codes?
Do not remember exactly. There is "R8" labeling somewhere, but not everywhere which means inspectors might not be able to see it.
No labeling outside. The only thing it has is one 3x4 inch sticker stuck to the side that contains the manufacture info and the R8 value.
