I just dug a hole 24”, put in a 4x4 treated post and added a bag off concrete at the base and backfilled with dirt. Prior to that I ran the Romax wire from the base to above the top of the lamp post. It easily fits between the fixture and the post. I also put a 12x12x4” concrete pad at the base at ground level for mowing. I did not use the metal post, just a 8’ 4x4 treated post. Hope that helps. Don't understand the question
Eddie, I would run the electric line through the pole leaving extra wire at the top, then push the pole to the desired heigh into the cement. Secure the pole at the front and back with 1x3’s and be sure to level at the sides and top. Allow cement to dry and cure. Then attach pvc lamppost. I used gorilla adhesive at the bottom and GE premium caulk at top/lamp.Good luck ,
Thank you for reaching out! As per the instructions you are supposed to be digging a 15" hole and set the mounting pole with approximately 74" above ground then fill with concrete and allow time to cure. If you have further questions please feel free to reach out to customerservice@gomayne.com we are happy to help!
Thank you for your interest in Maybe products! Our lamp post have a precut 3" round hole in the top and bottom to accommodate a 3" steel pole. The polyethylene material Mayne products are made from is flexible and can be cut and modified to fit but we cannot guarantee it. Please note that modifying any products will void the warranty.
No.
Our lamp posts are designed for retro-fit installations over existing 3 inch diameter post. If the base of your 3-head lighting is the standard 3 inches, then yes it will fit.
We do not recommend painting our products. Our products are manufactured from polyethylene, which is an oil based plastic. We have found that paint typically does not adhere to it very well; it tends to peel and flake off over time. That being said, there is a paint on the market that is called “Fusion for Plastic” made by Krylon, which some of our customers have used with success. Please be advised that painted products cannot be returned and that painting the product will also void the warranty.
Hello, we do not recommend installing a mail post to our lamp posts.
I don't really think so. It has a metal rod going thru it so the wires go up to the light
Hello, this is a sleeve with a ground mount. The wiring runs through the bottom of the mount through the top and the sleeve slides over. The wires need to be mounted below the ground safely at a certain depth. This lamp post cannot be mounted differently. It will not sit on a concrete pad. Thanks!
I do not know. The metal post is pretty long so it would probably sit to high unless you cut it off
Hello, this sleeve can slide over an existing pole depending on the measurements of the current post you have. Please review the line drawings to ensure it's a good fix!
Hi Jeanine, the sleeve and the mount are two separate components. The metal conduit is needed if you are installing from scratch. The sleeve will slide over most conduits that are already installed. We are currently working on having the sleeve available as soon as possible. Thanks!
