Questions & Answers

What would be the best way to add a column in between 2 more sets (walls) thanks
ByJul 27, 2024
1 Answer |
Answer This Question

This product is designed as a free-standing seat wall. While you could potentially add a column between two sets of these walls, it wasn't designed for that purpose and might not provide the structural support you need. You may want to consult with a professional for advice on how to best achieve the desired outcome. They can help you determine the best approach and ensure the structural integrity of your project.

Can I make the wall longer like 20' long?
ByMar 4, 2024
1 Answer |
Answer This Question

Yes, you can make the wall longer than 112 inches. Each additional 112" seat wall kit you purchase will add to the overall length of the wall. You can find a 64" seat wall kit in the same color and design to add to your project. You can find this on The Home Depot site with Model # FBSW64 and Internet #203110008.

Are these blocks double sided or do you need two blocks back to back to form a double sided wall? How thick would that wall be?
ByFeb 25, 2024
1 Answer |
Answer This Question

These blocks are not double-sided. You would need two blocks back to back to form a double-sided wall. This would create a wall that is approximately 22 inches thick (11 inches per block).

What is the depth of the bottom layer? This is important to me as I am placing on top of a concrete base and don't want much overlap.

Answer This Question

The product depth is 11 inches. This measurement refers to the depth of the seat wall block itself.

This is confusing, I know you explained what you all get but pictures of exactly what you get would help more. 32 seat wall blocks, six 2 inch caps etc.. means anything to a newb. I could piece it together better if I could see it and lengths on pictures.

Answer This Question

The 112 in. Fossil Brown Outdoor Decorative Concrete Seat Wall Kit includes the following components: * 32 seat wall blocks * Six 2 in. top caps * 4 full end blocks * 2 half end blocks * Installation instructions While I can't display pictures here, you can visualize the kit as a series of interlocking blocks that form a straight wall, capped with the included top caps for a finished look. The end blocks provide a clean, polished edge to the wall. The provided installation instructions offer detailed guidance on assembling the components. For visual reference, you might find additional images or videos on the product page on the website.

Great Product
I ordered 3 of this product as I was creating a 13 to 14 foot curved wall on both sides of my patio. It all went together very well with planning it out first and then laying it out before I had put it permanently in place. I called the manufacturer before I ordered it to see what the radius could be. I was told it should be able to do a 4 foot radius at least. My radius was 5 feet so it really worked out well. I had my brother install it and he did a great job and did not have any problems with getting it together. He did cut each of the seat blocks on the top layer to make it fit together well since it was designed to be a straight wall. We used an adhesive made for concrete to put the blocks in place and used mortar to put the top seat blocks on as it did require some leveling and that was much easier to use than the glue which we would have had to use some king of shims. We are very happy with the product and results. It took him two days to put the whole thing together and to cut the seat blocks but it looks wonderful. Very happy. The delivery was good.

Looks good from afar; could look better up close
Concrete blocks get heavy after a while, but the wall is easy to assemble. Using a powered caulk gun also helps facilitate assembly. Once assembled and adhesive dries, the wall is pretty solid (though, I have not tried to knock it down). Cap blocks are dissappointing since there are substantial variations in color and shading. With portions of the gray surfaces of some of the blocks exposed as compared to the brownsides, no one will mistake these concrete blocks with stone or rock. I attempted to contact the manufacturer regarding touch-up paint, but the manufacturer was unresponsive. If you need a large, solid, do-it-yourself seat wall and you are not picky about the finish, this is a good product for the price.

Nice heavy wall
The wall looks good put together. The color is off fem the end caps to the middle blocks. I am going g to contact to see if they have any touch up paint or know how I can get the ends to match. Otherwise it is a great looking wall.
