        How do the "volcanic rock" odor absorbers compare to your charcoal-based products? Is one better for certain types of odors than the other? I'm having trouble deciding which product is more appropriate for my needs (musty closet and crawlspace)

        These products are the same, but the volcanic rock odor absorbers work on larger areas. So, depending on the size of the area/room you are using these in would determine which product would be more suitable for you. Thank you

          I have an 800 sf garage that reeks of a glue smell from the prior owner having a hobby of building model cars. Do I need 2 bags for this size area? And will it work on glue smell?

          Yes, the Volcanic Rock Odor Eliminator will help dissipate the smell of the glue. For an 800 square foot area, 2 bags are recommended. Once the odor has stopped diminishing, take the bags outdoors and recharge according to directions. Then, return them to the garage to continue working.

            Use one bag per room. Remove bag from the plastic package. Bag can be hung up, placed under furniture. To Recharge: Place bag in direct sunlight for a minimum of 6 hours every month to restore the effectiveness of the natural charcoal. Can be recharged up to 2 years.

                  I don't know what's in this, but it really works!
                  I needed a way to eliminate odors from my stepson's bedroom, and none of the spray products did a very good job and didn't last more than a couple hours. I have no idea what's in this bag of amazing odor absorbent, but it's extremely effective at removing strong smells. So far, it has been in place for 2 weeks, and the odor control is still going strong. The instructions say it can be recharged by putting it in the sunshine, so that will come once the absorption seems reduced. Zero dust. Zero hassle. Zero smells. Nice product!

                  It's working.
                  The OdoBan 32 oz. OdoRocks, Natural Air Purifying, Odor Eliminator and Absorber, Black is being put to the test in hopes that it will remove the odor from my microwave since I burned a steam bag full of lima beans. Every other day, I leave the Odoban inside the microwave. When I remove the bag and give it a sniff, I can certainly smell the burnt odor on the bag’s material. I just keep rotating it every other day between the microwave and the sunlight for recharging. So far so good. This product is ready to use straight out of the packaging. After a few times of handling the bag, I did notice an open space where the bag came unglued and the rocks were falling out. It’s only about an inch-long opening so I will sew it back together and keep on using it. I do like this product very much.

                  Worked wonders in my gym bag and shoe closet
                  Sometimes the smells that come from my sports bag or laundry basket is pretty musky and builds up quickly by end of the week but I thought I would give the large 32oz. Odoban air purifying odoRocks eliminator bag a try. I quickly realized it neuritilized a lot of the kids sweat and odors from their room, I hang one in their laundry basket and I use one in my hockey bag and closet (for shoes). What caught my eye was the fact it was simply negatively charged volcanic rock to attract odors and its all natural, allergen/fragrance free. There are so many places you can put these bags and they help to eliminate the smells of (urine, feces, smoke, pet odors, mold/mildew, chemical odors from New homes, bedrooms, basements, closet and dirty laundry) so like I said... anywhere and it also works great when coupled with a room air freshener... even dampens the strong odors of air fresheners but helps get rid of the foul odors as quickly as 4 to 8 hours. It says it covers 600sq.ft. but what I like the most is it is black and can hide in corners of rooms, under car seats, furniture and you are able to "recharge" the bag by simply placing the bag in direct sunlight for 6 hours every 6-12 months for up to 2 years ... I haven't used this long enough to "recharge" but in theory how can I not recommend this reusable and effective product.

                  Less odor
                  OdoBan 32 oz. OdoRocks, Natural Air Purifying, Odor Eliminator and Absorber is one of those items you have to take a leap of faith. I needed to something to reduce moldy odor in a vehicle I have not driven much over the last year. Moisture is the issue and a vehicle that has a leather interior is not a good mix. Over a week the smell has reduced and I’m hoping that it will continue to reduce the smell. The information on package indicates that the product is good for 2 years. You have to recharge the product every 6-12 months by placing it in direct sunlight for 6 hours ( I assume it dries the medium out). It appears that you can place it almost anywhere you have an odor you wish to eliminate. I would recommend this product.

                  Silently doing it's job
                  I bought this a little while ago and I was very doubtful. However, I put it in the room where the air had a smell of mustiness to it and within a few days, the smell was gone. It did take a few days and it was just about when I was going to through it away did I realize that what I used to smell was gone. Being in the room all the time I didn't realize it decrease over time, but someone else who is only there weekly noticed it was gone. I find it's best to not hide it in a corner or behind things, the air needs to circulate around it. I have put it in the direct path of the air vent in the room to help with circulation.

                  No More Smell
                  We bought an older house and the smaller bathroom has an old smell to it. Some of it is even from under the sink. When my wife saw this OdoRocks Natural Volcanic Rock Odor Eliminator. she had to get it. I don't know how it works but I know that it does. In less than a week the musty smell is gone. The room and the hallway all have no smell. No smell means it is working. To recharge this and get rid of old smells (clean it) simply put the bag in the sun, even a sunny window will do. The bag is durable and even has a brass grommet to hang it from. If you have any odors from anything, you need to get one of these. They really do the job. Get to Home Depot and pick one up. Better yet, one for the cat box and one for the car..

                  OdoBan OdoRocks Odor Eliminator
                  This products seems to be very good at eliminating odors in the home. I hung it in a place close to the kitchen and family room, and after cooking, it definitely eliminated the food odor from the area. It has a relatively like scent so it is not over powering when it comes to its odor. I'm going to buy a couple more to hang around various areas in the house.

                  so easy
                  I ordered OdoRocks Natural Volcanic Rock Odor Eliminator because I don't like the perfume coverups that I have been using. I tried it first in my coat closet where I keep an inherited letterman leather jacket from my uncle that smoked a pipe. Leather jackets cost a lot of money to have cleaned, but I wanted to keep it and wear it. I'm very happy with the results after a day of hanging the OdoRocks bag in the small coat closet. I have now moved the OdoRocks bag to my car and hopefully will have the same good results.

                  Odor Gone
                  OdoBan Air Purifying odorocks works great, it's a 2 pound bag you hang just about any place. I had to try it right away, brought home a cat and after a month of living under my roof the room began to have a lingering odor that usually comes with a cat after one day of hanging the odor bag in the room, I'm happy to say it works great, it eliminated the odor without any scented sprays or residue. A great alternative for eliminating odors .

                  Can work for years, but build quality wasn't good
                  I lied the idea of having smell eliminator which can work for multiple years. So, got OdoBan 32 oz. OdoRocks Natural Volcanic Rock Odor Eliminator, Unscented Non-Toxic Rechargeable Odor Absorber Bag for Car & Home. A couple words about build quality, the bag was placed in basement first and when i picked it up, it burst open and rocks were out. Not sure if we cannot move it once placed or I was unlucky to have bad quality bag. But check for that. Cant recommend due to the experience. Do like other products of this brand. Pics attached for reference. Moved it to higher ground for safety.
