About This Product
SharkBite Max push-to-connect fittings are the fastest way to connect PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT or HDPE pipe. A newly designed stainless steel collet retainer delivers additional strength and durability and provides a 250 psi pressure rating. SharkBite Max fittings don't require a PEX tube liner and a re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less force and greater ease. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue or special tools required. After inserting the pipe, stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe tightly while a specially formulated O-ring compresses around the pipe to create a watertight seal. The fitting can be rotated after installation for quick adjustments and removing the fitting is just as fast with a disconnect tool, allowing fittings and valves to be changed or reused.

Can this fitting be used with Pex A and Pex B or just Pex B?
Hi, The Max 3/4 in. Push-to-Connect Brass 90-Degree Elbow can be used on PEX-A and PEX-B as long as the PEX has been tested to the (ASTM F876) standard. This is the standard for push-to-connect fittings. You will find this information printed on the PEX pipe if the product has been tested for push-to-connect fittings. Can this be used with CPVC?
I really doubt. there are two CPVC and CPVC-CTS size are different. CPVC-CTS means compatible with copper pipe OD, CPVC has same OD as PVC. for 3/4", PVC/CPVC OD is 1.05", copper and CPVC-CTS OD is 0.875".
