California environmental regulations do not allow the sale of this item in California. Mike
Yes. I have a garden maintenance business and use these to dispose of the yard debris. I like these because they're slightly thicker than the other sizes.
Sorry this is a year after you posted, but I am in the same situation and needing a refill and came across your question. We have a 32 gallon rolling composting bin too, with the same dimensions you describe (17 x 18 x 33). These bags are not wide enough to stay in place to line the bin as the bag does not open wide enough for the 17x18 opening. You have to stretch the bag and then it can hang over the lip of the bin, but it is tight and prone to tearing. Because this is the liner to our main bin, and we're putting small compost bags from the kitchen into the main bin, it's not too problematic, but if you have a 32 gallon bin filled with debris, your liner will come off under the weight. As a workaround, we use small binder clips to keep the bag in place. That's good enough for our needs but we have to remember to unclip before garbage day. I've attached a picture for reference. I will likely refill my supply with a slightly bigger bag (35 gallon or so) so the bag opening drapes over the bin. Hope this helps.
They are attached in a roll with perforations. You must tear each off carefully or you might tear the bag. They are light and thin so you have to handle carefully. I have torn one or two by accident. My bags are clear/transparent and appear different from one in photo. I have bags similar to above but they are not compostable.
Depending on what you put into them initiates how fast they compost. Wet, acidic things hasten decomposition of the bags. Used, wet kitty litter begins decomposition of the bag quickly, as an example.
No, this bag is not biodegradable, this bag is compostable.
The bag size is 42 in. W x 48 in. H.
Yes, they are certified compostable bags.
No, they are ASTM 6400 certified.
