Hi Aman, Yes. Go to www.superior-pump.com and click on the PARTS tab in upper right of the page and then on the pedistal pumps. Click on your pump and the parts are there and you can place an order there. Thanks
Hi Cory, NO, the motor is not submersible and should not get wet. Do not let the motor go into the water
Hi Scott, Yes, The pump can be adjusted to come on between 4" and 9" Thanks
I had a pedestal sump pump that did fit inside a 5 gallon pail but was not this one and I think the float ball was smaller. I don't know it they, sump pumps, are all the same size. If this does fit I would be concerned that the float ball might get hung up inside the bucket so it wouldn't raise to start the pump. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
The configuration of the output and the float make the overall width to wide for a 5 gal bucket. If it is possible to rotate the float switch to the side it would make it fit a 5 gal bucket. I have not tried this myself, but it would be improvement, Other than that it is a good pump.
Hi there, It will fit but it might be a tight fit. Be sure the float ball is not rubbing on the side of the bucket where it can become stuck. Thanks
From my recollection with 80% confidence, it is about 34 in to the top of pump. So take 8 in off you get about 26 and to be safe, assume it is 22-26in
Hi Matt, The overall height of this pump. #92301 ks 34". This is from the bottom of the base to the top of the switch Thanks
Dear Matt, I assume your question asks about the physical dimensions of the Superior Pump 1/3 HP Cast Iron Pedestal Sump Pump. You can easily find the answer on the Home Depot website for this product at: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Superior-Pump-1-3-HP-Cast-Iron-Pedestal-Sump-Pump-92301/206471980 Scroll down the page until you find the "Specifications" section. That is where you will find the answer to your question.
Probably 8inches of water. As long as the bottom of the pump is submerged it should be ok
The OFF level is about 4 in (fixed) and the ON level is adjustable. Since the switch lever travels about 3 in, the ON level can go from minimum 7 in to a max about 14-16 in (my estimate)
Our sump pump rarely turns on so I have little actual experience to go on. However, I just went down and manually moved the shaft with the ball at the end and it appears to travel about 6" before it activates. The actual water level will most likely be several inches higher than that when it activates since the bottom of the ball does not actually rest at the bottom of sump when the sump is dry (it is a couple of inches higher than that) and the water level will probably need to rise a few inches before the ball will begin to move. FYI, our sump is approximately 27" deep overall and we have never had the sump overflow.
Hi Bill, This pump would need 3-4" as the min depth to turn the pump on and off at about 2 1/2" depth Thanks
You can adjust where the pump will start by moving the slides up or down on the rod for the ball float. I don't know what the least amount of water depth would be.
as low as you set the ball to kick on
I don't think there is any bearing in the water. The motor is on top and a long drive shaft goes to the bottom connecting to a spinning blade (see manufacture pictures)
Hi there, There is a bushing pressed into the base, not a bearing Thanks
It is a metal bearing. It's all metal construction.
I don't know what type of bearing is in the water. I've had this sump pump for several years working in my garage and have had no problems. As long as the metal float rod stays straight it works fine.
I'm pretty sure it is just a bushing not a ball bearing.
