About This Product

Adding extra length to get past obstructions or into tight, narrow spaces, TEKTON Extensions access hard-to-reach fasteners, allowing you to work faster and avoid extra disassembly steps. 4 detent grooves provide a secure connection with the retaining ball of a drive tool. Radiused corners reinforce the drive end by eliminating sharp angles that are prone to cracking under stress. The drive end's beveled edge helps guide a ratchet tang smoothly onto the socket.

Quality 1/4” Extensions
This extension set for a 1/4” ratchet arrived quickly and well packaged. The set includes a 6”, 3”, and 3/4” extension. They are a good weight, attach to my 1/4” tool with a solid click, and stays put. The knurled grips are extreme helpful when hands are a bit greasy while working on my vehicle. The polished chrome finish looks good and cleans easily. Time will tell how the finish holds up but my initial opinion is that it’s a quality product.

1/4 " Drive Extensions
1/4" drive extension set. They have that high quality feel to them like some of the more expensive brands. I really like the knurled shaft on the 3" and 6" extensions, sometimes you don't need to crank the ratchet when just a twist with your fingertips will do the job. Sockets snap on securely and allow just enough swivel angle to get into some of those awkward spaces

Good, 7/10 overall, minor issue with one of the 3
Basic extensions but middle length extension didn't hold as well as the others. The short extension is so short I'm not exactly sure what it's for. I've worked on cars my whole life and I've never had a need for an extension that's that length. Basically you can have a deep socket and it will reach further than that extension. That being said, the one issue I had was the middle length extension the ball doesn't go out as far as the other 2 extensions. It's probably 0.5mm or less difference but it's enough to feel when you put a socket at the end and pull it off. The other 2 extensions hold very tight to the socket and the middle one would let go without too much pressure. Not enough to say it doesn't work but I would have preferred they all be the same if it was my choice. Also, the density of the extensions is about on par with my other extensions but not as dense as some high end tools. I took a picture side by side and you can see the high end is much thinner and when you hit one extension against the other you can tell the grade of metal underneath. The high end is strong and dense which is why it's so thin and this one is not quite as dense. To be fair, my other tools are similar density so this is not a con just an observation.
