I have a very specific question, beside not having the hole in the bait, what is the difference between these and the bait blocks in the Rat and Mouse kit? Very specific.
The biggest differences between the Tomcat Mouse Killer Child & Dog Resistant Refillable Bait Station and the Tomcat® Rat and Mouse Killer Child and Dog Resistant, Refillable Station is larger bait to allow for the appetites of rats and also the bait stations being bigger to allow for rats (bigger in size) to enter to eat the bait.
Can I just use the poison blocks without the holder and put in holes under my cement slab where they have dug holes.
Tomcat Mouse Killer Child & Dog Resistant Refillable Bait Station may be used in indoor and outdoor areas accessible to children and pets, consistent with all use restrictions. Bait MUST be used inside the station. It may not be used outside of the station. This bait station can only be refilled with the block bait sold with this station. Determine areas where house mice will most likely find and consume the bait. Generally, these areas are along walls, by gnawed openings, in corners and concealed places.

Did you know that the mice can come in and eat the bait - AND THEN go back to their home and die (on the floor or in the wall or ???) ! A trap with bait that actually traps the mouse is most likely what you want to buy.
Rodent will eat the bait then leave the bait station, and will continue to wander about until such time that the bait affects them to the point that they stop moving. Rodent will die anywhere. There is nothing in the bait that will prevent the rodent from smelling while it is decomposing after it dies.
