I think so, but obviously, this is a question for your local Home Depot.

Yes ten feet rebar always in stock unless they ran out

Please call your local store and inquire.

No. It will eventually rust a bit, but the rebar won't be compromised. If you want a more finished stainless steel grill, you'd probably be better off going to a large kitchen supply store. You'll probably have a variety of different sizes to choose from.

        It is not stainless steel

        By|Jun 11, 2020

This is NOT stainless steel rebar.

        By|Jun 12, 2020

          No.

I haven't used rebar to make a grate, but it sounds like a good idea. Suggestions: Use a steel wire brush to get rid of any surface rust, then cover with black high-temperature spray paint -- e.g., Rust-Oleum Specialty High-Heat Ultra Semi-Gloss Black Spray Paint, available at Home Depot.

Depends on the size of your rebar. I used a 1/2" bit with this particular sized rebar. It's "tight," but you want it tight so that it doesn't wiggle around in the timber. I used a hammer and the rebar went through the timber very nicely.

I used a 5/8 bit. However, that is up to you.

Both the PVC and the rebar are ½’’ and should not fit.

                By|Jun 9, 2020

With a big enough hammer you might could drive it through the 1/2 pvc pipe.

We discovered that some of the precut sections of rebar will fit, some will not. You need to try them individually as some are bent.

According to Weyerhaeuser.com: Weyerhaeuser understands the value in buying domestic and has placed our trust in purchasing primarily from US-based rebar and remesh manufacturers. Hope this helps.

The rebar is made of iron; therefore I believe that it is weldable. However, I am not a welder nor to I have a significant amount of experience with welding. It would be better served to ask this question to a welder or someone in construction that has experience with laying foundations or building concrete sections for expressways and/or bridges...

just grind to bare metal and weld away

Yes, it is weldable with all welding processes including MMA stick electrode like E7018.. Note: it is an iron-carbon alloy not just "iron"..
