A:  Support two installation methods (plug in / hardwired), and If you want to hard-wire to a wall switch, you have to cut the mirror power cord and hard-wire it.

    A:  It says you can do either. It's supplied with a plug so if wiring to a switch then cut the plug off and hard wire. Or an outlet on a switch.
