A: Yes, you can use dry ice to keep food frozen in Coleman®120 Qt Coastal Extreme Marine Cooler. Place the dry ice on top of the food. Be sure that the dry ice is wrapped in heavy layers of newspaper. Do not let dry ice come in direct contact with the interior liner or your hands.
A: You can put dry ice in any cooler Thatch's not air tight or made if metal. Dry ice temp is minus 109f. Typically, metals brittle fracture at such low temps. Therefore, the parts exposed to direct contact with dry ice should not be ordinary metals. Some exotics can take it, but you wouldn't be buying those at this price. Don't put the cooler in a room without adequate ventilation if you put in dry ice, carbon dioxide can displace oxygen.

A: It does not, pictures are true to form
A: No, this does not have cushion for the top.
A: Depends on how often you go into it, and how you have your stuff packed...get what you need and keep it shut. Cold from Ice flows down so constant opening and closing will let warm air on the top that will create melt. The lid has a good tight fit...my experience was that it will keep ice for 4-5 days.
A: Hello! Thank you for your question. We are sorry for any confusion. Please be advised that to help your cooler hold ice. Coleman recommends using 0.75 lbs. of ice per rated quart of the coolant. We highly recommend using cubed ice. For best performance, always pre-chill food and drinks. Two six packs or one gallon (3.7L) of liquid will use approximately 2.5 lbs. (1.13kg) of ice just to cool to room temperature. So plan ahead and cool off everything before you head out. You can even empty a few trays of ice into the cooler to pre-chill its interior. Put the ice in last. Cold air travels down, so if you want your beverage well chilled, load cans and bottles first, then cover with ice. Do not store coolers in hot locations. When storing coolers, avoid hot places such as the garage or the trunk of a car. If this is unavoidable, bring the cooler inside for at least 24 hours before use. Keep it out of the sun. Ice lasts up to twice as long when the cooler is in the shade. Choose cube or block ice. Use cube ice to quickly cool food and drink; block ice to keep it cold longer. Don't drain cold water. Recently melted ice keeps food and drinks cold. Melted ice water preserves ice better than empty air. Close the lid quickly after opening. Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary.
A: Coolers must be FULL to keep heat out. Air in the cooler will warm things up and affect everything around it (because air's heat capacity* is low and water's heat capacity is high). Eliminate the heat opportunity: airspace. Also, pre-chill everything you put in there. You can't expect to put only 25% space of ice, some warm cans, (and 30% AIR) and then it stay icy for 5 days. I'm not saying that's exactly what you did, but I'd be willing to bet that's close. Most reviews complaining they don't get the ice longevity "others allegedly get?!" are making these mistakes. * heat capacity (aka specific heat) is the amount of heat you'd have to apply to a substance to raise its temperature. Water (vs. air) requires a lot of heat to get it to change temperature (and once it's warm, it takes longer to cool down vs. air). This is why coastal SoCal cities stay cool in the summer. It's why people put black bottles of water (exposed to the sun during the day) in greenhouses in the winter.
A: Define cold. Technically, and thing less than ambient is cold.
A: This product keeps the Ice up to 2 days at temperatures up to 90°F.
