A:  Wrong. Those are not compatible

A:  Macca, The boxes are designed to be used with pipe.

A:  Yes, with a threaded emt connector

A:  Yes you need to see what the hole size is then match the romex or type of wire connector to that size , for example, 3/4 hole goes with 3.4 connector 

A:  Hi Paulk, the holes are ½” NPT (National Pipe Thread). You would not use a romex connector on an Outdoor Weatherproof box.

A:  The box is aluminum which won't rust but will corrode in certain environments. That doesn't mean the box isn't resilient because it is. The tabs on the inside are steel and can corrode if water or chemicals infiltrate the box.

A:  I kevin, the aluminum box is powder coated and the metal plates are zinc plated.

A:  Yes.

A:  Take the lock ring off and thread the connector into the box

A:  Hi Barrett, the boxes are designed for the pipe to tread directly into the box.

A:  Sometimes the boxes come in white, and bronze.  Bronze is very close in appearance to black.

A:  Hi Handy, we have bronze (Store SKU #677515)

A:  I don’t think a gasket is available.  I used loctite 243 to seal the threads and that is working.

A:  Fill it fill of silicone 

A:  Hi DavidK, the cover that goes on the box has a gasket. The closure plug with silicone sealant will seal good.

A:  Hi ScottF, the boxes all have holes on multiple sides that are easily sealed with plugs that are supplied with the box and a silicone sealant that you purchase.

A:  I have not seen any boxes with just the single, threaded inlet.  They come with two threaded plugs to close off any unused inlet.  Side note, the threaded plugs can be purchased by themselves.
