    A:  Thank you. There is no specific measurement as it depends on the height of the person who will be using the Tub / Shower area. We suggest the person who is going to be using the bar assist with the placement of the height of the bar.

      Q:Why are these not made in intervals of 16” so as to align with studs?!

      A:  I just googled the exact same thing and am blown away that none come in increments of 16. It's wild. I suppose you could hang them at a slight angle to catch both studs, OR the inner screw holes MAY be 16" on center. There's no dimensional graphic either!

        A:  Thank you. This does not use set screws to hold the collar. You will need to push the collar onto the mounting bracket until it snaps into place. If you have a Grab Bar that has set screws, it is not this model.
