This grate is square, not circular, and measures 8 inches wide. There is also a 6-inch square version available (model# D59156), if that would better suit your needs.

What are the actual dimensions? Slightly less than 8" by 8" would work, but if it is even slightly larger than 8" by 8", then it will not fit my structure.

We have a drain in a lower patio, that is 8 x 8, and it would always get clogged with Oak leaves. This was a perfect fit, and it has a bit of a dome top, so the leaves don't cover it up right away.
