Yes, OdoBan Disinfectant is designed to work on old urine odors in bathrooms by neutralizing the smell. If you are able to reach and apply to the actual joist itself then you can apply either an OdoBan solution or OdoBan Ready-to-Use spray to the wood joists under your bathroom sink. If you are using the concentrate, mix 5 parts water to 1 part concentrate. This will be effective against urine odors in the area. PLEASE NOTE: Since your home is older this may need to be a repeated process, and not a one-time application solution.

Yes, our OdoBan disinfectant laundry and air freshener is a multi-use product. As directed on the label you can use this product to clean walls, tables, floors, carpets, toilets, grout, sinks, drains, bathtubs, countertops, appliances, furniture, laundry, bedding and more. You can disinfect hard nonporous surfaces when using this product as well. To use for laundry, add the concentrate to your rinse cycle to control odors, soften fabrics and remove static cling. You can use up to 8oz in your rinse cycle or simply fill up your softener tray for it to be released during the rinse cycle for you. This product is not for use on laminate or finished hardwood, and remember to always let the area completely dry before allowing pets/ kids back onto the surface. Thank you, OdoBan Team

OdoBan disinfectant and Odor Eliminator does work against odors from pet urine. To successfully get rid of the smell you will need to first clean up the mess, then follow the directions on the label to clean the surface as needed. You can also use this product just as a deodorizer/ air freshener if you have a new pet who is having multiple accidents. You can add OdoBan Fresh Linen concentrate to your rinse cycle when you wash your pee pads. You can add up to 8oz in your rinse cycle or you can fill up your softener tray and it will release the concentrate for you during the rinse cycle of your wash. Some of our products may contain animal derived soap, but those would be our solid odor absorbers, and not any of our liquid deodorizer/disinfectants. All of our fragrances meet IFRA standards. (see https://ifrafragrance.org/) Our fragrances are not known to contain animal musk. For the most part, the fragrance ingredients are blends of synthetic and plant based ingredients. No, our OdoBan disinfectant and odor eliminator is not meant to be used on any food contact surface. Since dishes go in the dishwasher this is not a directed use of OdoBan. You also can not use this product in anything that heats up, giving that most dishwasher heat dry you will want to avoid using OdoBan in a dishwasher. Thank you, - OdoBan Team

Is the orange sent of the Citrus OdoBan a synthetic or natural oil?

Our citrus and all other scents in our disinfectant are not made with natural oils. They are all made with ingredients to make each fragrance. If you have allergies to citrus natural oils the ingredients are close enough that we would not recommend using our citrus OdoBan disinfectant.
