    A:  The old style - the wheels and handle assembly were a permanent part of the box. The new "improved" style the lower box is removable from the box assembly.

            A:  The Ridged tool box has an O-ring gasket in the lid which prevents water intrusion as long as it’s integrity is maintained.  Also, the box is not meant to be submerged. So it will keep out water that is rained or pored on it, but will not stand up to being knocked into a pool.
