Appreciate the attempt from Whirlpool. Don't bother with the app - it's too fickle. Press the Load & Go button and look at the digital display for the level.

To disable the Load & Go™ system on a Whirlpool washer, you can press the Load & Go™ button until the light turns off. This will allow you to use a single dose of HE detergent instead. You can also use powdered detergent or single-dose detergent packets by placing them in the wash basket before starting the load.
