The panels were tied down with the 4 X 4s I also ordered and placed on the back of a flat bed. The top panel was scratched. All of the other panels were chipped on the edges, where the tie down straps were tied, making them unusable.

Shiplap is great but I don’t think it’s DIY.
You have to go to the store. Don’t ship to your home. My contractor had to reject 20 panels at the store because they were damaged. The surface is supposed to be prepped for paint. But it had to be lightly sanded. You don’t need to prime it. You have to paint the grooves with a brush first before using a roller. And you have to do two coats of paint. It looks amazing after only one coat so far. I had to do 700 feet of hallway and this product was by far the cheapest way to go.

This quality of coloring on this product was horrible. I installed 49 sheets in my shop and it had a massive color variation from yellowing as it sat in the Home Depot warehouse. 7 of the sheets were perfectly white but the other 40 or so were horrible.

I use this as a back to an island I built, and I think it turned out spectacular. I even used it as the background and a built-in bookshelf.CC

Project came out great! Easy to cut through, and half the work of putting up actual shiplap. Only thing is the sides got dented in the process and I gets easily chipped.

    Looks amazing!
This made my project super quick and easy to finish. This stuff was easy to cut and held up nicely when being transported in the truck and didn’t scuff or scratch when cutting or moving around. However, I did protect it with tape when using a saw to cut it. It looks great not painted and I love how this turned out!

      Not water resistant
I felt like these were pretty easy to instal and a heck of a lot cheaper than other Shiplap alternatives. The panels lined up nice. My only qualm is that we found out these are not water resistant. We installed ours in a bathroom and a couple of areas on wall started bubbling up around the nickel spacing. Would highly recommend a layer of primer or other water resistant paint if using in a bathroom. Thankfully the small amount we had bubble up was not super noticeable.

Looks great at a fraction of the price
Was worried how this would look-you definitely need to use some type of filler for the gaps and it needs painted-but looks great!

          Paint doesn’t stick
Put these up in a powder room that doesn’t get much use. Applied some paint samples and here a week later the paint samples will come right off with a light scratch. So you have to sand these and then paint them which is what I thought I was avoiding with these “primed” panels. Boo.

Shiplap paneling for bedroom accent wall.
This was a less expensive alternative to individual planks. I recommend using the quick drying adhesive. Finishing screws are easier to hide in the middle of the planks than in the grooves. Used white caulking where paneling edges meet. Paint does not stick to it.

              Easy
Very easy to cut. Sanded, primed and painted it the color my wife wanted. I have installed regular shiplap in the past, this a really good option. Much less work and got the same look.

                Great for DIYers!
So easy to trim and install! Used as an accent wall treatment in our guest room and to cover drywall damage from old wainscoting in our foyer!

                      Love this shiplap!!!
I have a colonial style home and was looking for ways to upgrade my laundry room. After putting in a bench, I thought vertical shiplap would look good above it. These panels are great! My contractor said it was easy to install. I am thinking of other spaces to use these panels.

                        Great Time Saver
Wanted a shiplap look in a quick 1/2 bath update and this product saved so much time. Once installed and painted you can't even tell this came in panels! Definitely made sure to adhere well to the wall based on reviews.

Quality and cheap alternative to real shiplap
Product was easy to install with liquid nails and a brad nailer. Caulked the seams and you can't even tell its paneling versus real shiplap. I've had loads of compliment on our nursery wall! Will be using again.

                            Paneling bows when installed
We installed this paneling to replace some old wood paneling in our basement. Two days after install all of the paneling was bowed and warped. We followed the manufacture recommendatiosn for install. We now have to put up drywall instead. Do not recommend this product for basement remodeling.

                              Awesome Paneling!
I wanted a board and batten look in my bathroom but my drywall was damaged from pulling old tile off the wall. So, once I saw this paneling I was very excited! All I had to do was nail this paneling right over the damaged drywall and paint it. I think it came out very nicely!

Absolute junk! Weather makes it warp!
20 sheets looked great at first. Followed instructions. After 2 weeks, the panels warped so bad I had to rip them down. Weather changes make it warp, even after it's glued and nailed in place. Manufacturer admitted humidity affects the paneling.

Bought this as an inexpensive option to shiplap and was well please to find it would line up ease and the seams disappeared with a bit of caulking and a fresh coat of paint. Easy to work with, cut ver clean.

These panels were great to work with! We installed them in a camper about a month ago and they seem to be holding up well! They are made of a lighter material but still fairly durable for the tack nails we used. There was a slight color variation from panel to panel likely because I purchased these panels from two different stores but I intended to paint them anyways. Overall very pleased and will definitely be purchasing for other projects in the future.

                                    Do Your Research and Prep
I installed these sheets on our vaulted kitchen ceiling over the winter. Be warned, these panels will warp like crazy if exposed to any humidity. Looked great until it warmed up this spring. I did not factor in expansion gaps when installing, so I do take may share of responsibility, but these panels won't be forgiving, and ceiling fans didn't help. Seal the edges, have expansion gaps between sheets, and finish with appropriate sealer/paint if you still want to go with these. Do your research!
