Bought 2 for garage. Both stopped working. 1 within 1 year and the 2nd within the 2 year.

This was a gift, so I suppose I shouldn't complain too much. Ok, maybe I will and only for the benefit of those who are thinking of buying this. It is a good concept and has a sturdy exterior construction and is very bright, but that's where the good times end. I had these less than 3 years in my garage and it has totally burnt out. I don't spend a ton of time in the garage, and I'd be shocked if I've even totalled anywhere near 70 hours of use. On top of it all, inside the compartment, there is the dreaded black hard resin cap that crumbles and falls off, dangerously exposing 2 silver wires and I only discovered this after it stopped working the first time - there are videos out there that show this issue and apparently, it is a very common problem. The second time it burnt out, it was toast. Only a dim section lit up while the other two LED pads were not working at all. IMO, I am absolutely shocked that Bell-Howell is putting their reputation on the line with such a piece of junk, or, maybe they're brilliant in making a piece of crap so that consumers will buy more often. Either way, if they truly care, they should make an engineering tweak and have higher quality internal parts.

Be prepared to replace it after a year Bought a few of these from my house and they worked incredibly amazing but for 40 bucks or 50 bucks you would think it would last more than a year it’s in my garage and I’ve replaced it three times every time returning the broken unit in the new unit box so other than the hassle of having to go to Home Depot it’s been pretty good

install was near lightening fast, it lit up my garage bright. it has adjustable light panels so you direct the light where you need it

Only lasted 9 months!!! Expensive at $30 originally, but figured for a reputable brand, sold in stores like HD, & it's ETL listing (safety) worth a few extra bucks right? WRONG... Used for extra light in my garage that doesn't fall below 50°F. It didn't have a hard life. It MAYBE saw 300 hours of it's rated 50,000. Completely failed, all 3 panels. There's obviously a design flaw. No way this thing should be ETL rated, or sold anywhere. Huge FAIL Picture to prove this review isn't fake

We bought 4 of these lights and out of the 4, 2 of them either started off having 1 of the 3 lights not work or just stop working. They would be nice lights if they stayed working.

WOW what a difference. bought 2 for my garage and now it's like daytime compared to a light bulb. Highly recommend this product.

One of the segments failed after 6 months. Beyond Bright's response is that the warranty is only 90 days. For an LED light? Don't buy this light.

Broke in less than a year. The contact point in the socket broke off into the light somehow.

I plugged this light into my double socket fixture as pictured just to see if they were bright enough to keep. I since have replaced my shop light box with a single socket fixture. This light is super bright for a 30$ light and 3$ single socket fixture.

Great light for garage and basement. Have four in my 38x34 garage and seven in the 50 X34 open basement . Nice, bright working light.

The TriButst light was all that was advertised, I replacer a 4ft, 2 lamp fluorescent light with it in my garage and add so much more light, just what I was looking for!

It was Awesome for like a month And all of a sudden it took a crap doesn’t want to turn back on Now I got to go return it and try another one because I really Liked it So we shall see

This light is amazing, I put it in my closet and attic and storage room. it is great. I can see better than I ever have , very bright

These lights are very bright and very easy to install. We put them in our new shed and couldn’t be happier with the result. Would highly recommend.

The light was as bright as advertized. However the build quality is terrible. The light started flickering in less than a week. The attached picture says a lot about the build quality. Unfortunately I threw the box away otherwise would have returned it

What used to be a very dark area in my garage is now VERY bright and all I had to do was screw it into the existing lightbulb socket. Love it.

It comes with THREE LED panels with 144 high intensity LED Bulbs. The Lumens equal 4,000 and trust me that is very bright. We ended up putting this in a storage closet in our garage. We always had difficulty finding what we needed in there with just a regular bulb. This light makes it very easy to see everything and find what we are looking for. This light would be great for garages, sheds, attics or even porches. We are super pleased and would definitely recommend this light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this light and went right into my shed and screwed it in. It already comes assembled and looks to be good quality and not cheap feeling. And wow it really gives off good light compared to the one regular light bulb I had screwed in before. Plus, it’s LED so it’s cheaper to power. Get one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bell + Howell Triburst is like having a stadium light in your garage! It brightens up the whole garage as if it was daylight. It is very easy to install and only uses 60 Watts of Energy. The 3 light panels are adjustable so you can direct them to the areas you need light. In addition to garages, you can use in patios, walkways and driveways. A great multipurpose tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that each led panel is individually adjustable up to 90 degrees. The whole unit is not that big but it outputs 4000 lumens. Again, it's bright, so make sure the led light is not in your sight while on or it will be uncomfortable. What I would ask for future upgrade is the ability to adjust the led panels 180 degrees.

impossible to repare suppose tough light and illuminated some times only. don't buy it

Great Product, a lot of light that you are able to adjust to where you need it.

Bought 4 of these over a 2 month period…early in 2024…2 of the 4 are burnt out. Will not be buying them again…will try a different brand. These are not worth the money.

Really throws light in the garage. Made all the difference illuminating the worktable for my craft projects.
