I had to add a wood frame around the hole in the wall to extend it out one inch. I had not noticed that the wall was only 3” thick instead of 4”. Otherwise it did the job as expected.

Remodel box works as intended. The weak spot are the tabs (don’t over tighten). Why are remodel boxes almost $5 when new construction are on sale for $0.51. While I understand they are not exactly alike but the price is absurd comparatively. Even not on sale for $0.95 for new construction, the difference is unjustified.

People say dreams don’t come true but when you lay your eyes on this absolute amazingly blue box you’ll know that yours just did. After you cut that perfect rectangle hole in the drywall and slide this bad boy in you’ll never look back. It’s the one thing you wanted your entire life but could never find. Anyone who sees it will congratulate you with the most epic high fives, cheers and whistles. A must buy if you’re ready for all that!
