Underpowered and died
I agree with lots of the reviews on here. Pretty much bought it so that my wife could blow leaves off the deck and that’s about all it is good for. Now, just out of warranty, it has died completely; wont turn on, fresh battery and everything. For the price of pay for this, I think they wanted to get in the leaf blowing business and create another tool, but they should stay out of it and make other Dewalt tools only

    Got to make the changes...
Out of the gate had to make a guard for the intake out of a plastic pill bottle, keep sucking my shorts into the intake. Drilled holes and glued in place. 2nd, remove the circuit board when it begins to fail. Only works on high but never use anything else anyways. Now it is a great little blower for shop and garage. Not powerful enough for huge yard jobs.

DeWalt 20 V Job Site Blower
I purchased this product for Camping to blow off the camp site or anything else that needed to be. Great power & totally love its 20 volt features that the battery fits all my other dewalt tools. I currently own the larger blower for my grass & cleaning around the garage. Love it. Glad I own both and work for several different jobs around the house. Totally worth the purchase.

            Compact and Powerful
DEWALT has several battery powered air blowers on the market, but what landed me on this one is size! I am an avid fan of the 20v system and it makes up a majority of my tools. I am a professional carpenter/homebuilder. The size of this blower is great for stowing it away in the job box. I use it for lots of tasks, from blowing sawdust out of my tools at the end of the day before packing up, to cleaning out the walls of houses before we put insulation in. I use 6ah and 5ah batteries with it and have plenty of life. Usually lasts the whole day for me with one battery. I have seen others post about a slow battery drain. I cannot comment on this as I don’t leave batteries in my tools except the drills. Power! Well I can say for the tasks I described and occasional house duties when I’m looking to knock out something quick it works great. I have a gas powered backpack blower, but typically go for this guy first. I am very happy!

Most Used Tool in my Kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this tool as part of the 10 tool combo pack. I already have an expensive backpack blower so I basically just thought of this as a bonus tool, not something I'd use much. I was VERY wrong. The ease of use and portability make it my go to for a quick cleanup of my workspace. No cords to unwrap, no gas to mix, just squeeze the trigger and go. The compact size and light weight is very deceiving because it packs a PUNCH! I wish I could post a video just to show how powerful this thing is. Dewalt exceeds my expectations once again.

                  Very great tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tool, I use it every day. practice, light, work very well. Uses lots of battery power. I saw that it does not run on 6ah big batteries, it works for a few seconds and stops,

Perfect for an unexpected use. I was hoping to adapt it for use as a portable inflator for rafts and pool toys. I didn't need to adapt it--it comes with inflator nozzles in two sizes. Just twist off the blower nozzle, twist on the inflator adapter, and you're ready to go. It's light enough, even with a 5 amp-hour battery, to bring along on a raft ride. It's also very powerful as an inflator. It works fine as a small-area blower. We used it to clean sand off the cabin steps on vacation and I use it often in the garage. If you have a large area to blow, you might be happier with the 90 mph big blower: https://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-90-MPH-400-CFM-20-Volt-MAX-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Handheld-Leaf-Blower-with-5-0Ah-Battery-and-Charger-Included-DCBL720P1/205878780 In either case, I recommend the 5 amp-hour battery. I've got both, and it was well worth it to have just the right one for each use.

Easily one of the best purchases I have made. Quick and powerful, I was able to blowout my garage, porch, both drive ways and my deck on one charge. Dust and dirt gone in an instant. Easy work on the leaves this fall. Definitely a must have tool.

Two tools, lots of power, and a carrying bag
This is the Dewalt 20-Volt MAX XR Lithium-Ion Brushless 1/4 in. Cordless 3-Speed Impact Driver and the Dewalt 1/2" Brushless hammer drill. In this kit you'll get the 1/4" impact driver, 1/2" hammer drill, two batteries, and the charger. Everything fits nicely inside a nice heavy duty canvas bag. The bag has lots of extra room so you could easily fit another one or two batteries I would say. On the 1/4" impact driver, the driver head is very compact. More compact than a 1/4" driver I own from another brand. Keep in mind that even though this is a 1/4" driver it does not have the standard 1/4" square head. You need to use a hex adapter to use this with 1/4" sockets. This is referred to as a hex chuck. A lot of people don't realize this since 3/8" and 1/2" impacts have the square head. While this is annoying if you are looking to use it with 1/4" sockets, it's awesome for using it to drive deck screws. Since it's a hex chuck it will accept Dewalt driver bits. There are 3 LED's on the chuck and they are really bright. I've never seen an electric hand tool with such bright lights. You could use this as a flashlight when you're not driving bolts. If you like building things in the dark I don't think you can go wrong. It feels really well balanced and the grip is comfortable. Dewalt has equipped this with multiple speeds, so if you need to be precise with the bolt you're driving the option is there. There is a metal belt clip at the bottom but I find these to be more annoying than useful. if you are using it often it would be better to just invest in a holster, rather than try to clip it on to your belt every time. This is a brush-less driver, and it seems all the manufacturers are going this router which works for me. The hammer drill feels really solid and has a lot of torque. Here again it has the three super bright LEDs, that I'm pretty sure qualify it to be used as a flashlight as well. Aside from the bright LEDs there isn't too much that sets it apart from my other lithium ion drills other than that it is just a tad lighter, quieter, and has some extra voltage courtesy of the 20V 2Ah batteries that I would think should add to the run time. So far, I'm still on the first battery charge. The drill also has the metal belt clip that I find pretty unusable. Definitely, a solid drill though. These 20V 2Ah batteries are super small for the amount of power they pack, and their individual price shows it. I still haven't drained the first battery fully yet. The battery has 3 LED's on it indicating the current charge state. Since this is a lithium ion the optimal storage charge level is 50%. So, using the LED's you can run the batteries down to 50% without much guess work. You should be able to use these batteries with any of the Dewalt tools that take a 20v battery. I have to say, I don't feel like 20v is THAT much more powerful than 18v but these are more compact. Don't plan on using them with the 18v tools though. So, investing in these makes your 18v tools obsolete. The charger is pretty basic and not very heavy. It will indicate problems with the battery, its charge state, and whether there is a wiring problem. No discharge to 50% feature that I can see. Overall, I can't find anything I don't like about this kit other than maybe the price, but you get what you pay for. Both tools are powerful, fairly compact, and it comes with two batteries. I'm pretty picky and don't usually give out 5 stars but I think these two tools are worthy.

                        I'm Impressed
Two confessions before I start: 1. I am a cordless took junkie/hoarder. I have most of the major brands, and use them all frequently. 2. I'm not a huge Dewalt fan. I've owned many of their tools and aside from their 13" planer, I've replaced or augmented them with other brands. With that said, I put these to some heavy use and I am super impressed. Out of the box you get your standard tool bag with the drill, driver, batteries and charger. Nothing special here but nothing to complain about either. The charger I like. It's not this monstrosity that takes up half a shelf in my shop. It can be wall mounted if that's your thing. First up was the drill. It's "compact" like all of the other tools are "compact". I pictured it right next to my Bosch HDS 182-02 (a brushless hammer drill with similar specs). The first thing I noticed was the chuck. The jaws are really nice, Long, and a good shape to grip hex shank stuff and regular round bits. Also the chuck is all metal. No plastic overmold. I have the equivalent drill from almost every other major brand. It's comparable in many if not most ways - however this stands out in terms of responsiveness. The trigger is awesome. Easy to feather, good pull tension, and hyper responsive. The light is also perfect. It illuminates exactly where you are drilling instead of just shining a light in the general direction. I like this a lot. Speed and power are all there. I also drove some 3.5" screws into some studs hanging some french cleats and it did it without any complaint. The driver is what really impressed me. I only use these tools for woodworking related tasks such as driving and removing screws and lag bolts. I'm not sure where the limit with this guy is. Lag bolts that would have given my other comparable brands some difficulty were no problem. I was not expecting that kind of performance from any tool. Like the drill the light is perfect, and I like the 3 speed settings. As far as battery life, I would say it's comparable to my other higher end 2.0Ah 18v tools. Which is a good thing. I drilled tons of pilot holes and drove a ton of screws over the course of a weekend on a single charge. Of all the cordless drills/drivers I own, these moved directly to the top as my favorite. Having experience with most of the current models from most of the major brands, this kit stands out. If I lost all my cordless tools tomorrow, this kit would be my obvious choice for a replacement.

                        Powerful for it's Small Size
This blower is pretty powerful for it's small size. It certainly won't replace a larger blower completely for yard work but it really shines in certain situations. It's compact size and light weight have made it really handy when blowing sawdust off of my workbench and out of my garage. It's also been extremely useful to blow grass clippings and leaves off of our sidewalks and driveway. It doesn't have enough punch to manage leaves in grass, but it really shines everywhere else. Since it runs on a battery there's no prep to start it up and having the ability to lock the blower on while using it has been great

Even with the bigger battery, the power is not amazing, but it’s perfect for blowing off a small porch, sawdust on machines in a shop, and debris inside a vehicle cab. Being lower powered ensures it blows debris away without just kicking it into the air. I would rate 7.5/10 on power, 8.5/10 on durability/quality , and 8.5/10 for practicality. DO NOT EXPECT THE SAME RESULTS OF A LARGER BLOWER.

The hard nozzle vibrates off in seconds so it’s useless. So it can’t be used . Dewalt needs to redo this part !!! Works ok other wise with the soft plastic part . So when you redesign it please send me the new piece so I can use it properly. Put a soft plastic oring in the hard plastic so it stays on !!!! Was this even tested ???)
