The battery run time was insufficient for my needs and very underwhelming. I ensured it was fully charged and put it to the test more than once and it did not have enough run time to blow all the leaves from my yard and into the street collection pile. I would say it drained after about 15 minutes of continuous non stop use. Also, it should be noted that it shipped with a 9ah battery , which should have had a longer run time than the 3ah battery that is listed in the description . My experience with this product has me looking to try a different brand, I do not currently have confidence in Dewalt cordless outdoor power tools. I would be willing to try other DeWalt products of this type, but I would not be interested in having to purchase them to do so.

I bought this product a month ago. It worked just fine for month but then, even with a fully charged battery, it stopped blowing after a few minutes. I Returned it to Home Depot and bought another one which was in stock. My opinion is still undecided.

the blower works great at first then the battery died and would not recharge at all I had to call dewalt and 20 minutes on hold finally they will be sending me a replacement battery

For a Cordless it blows like a Corded one!!!

I returned this blower. It worked well for the 30 minutes the battery lasted. But I felt the cost was too great compared to the functionality. I went back to a corded blower that was equal or better in functionality but 1/5th the cost and lasted to do the entire job without needing to wait for the battery to charge.

Box claims it is compatible with 20v and 60v. Store associate agreed tool was compatible with 20v battery. This blower is not compatible with 20v batteries and should be explicitly mentioned on the box.

The blower was easy to assemble and with good power. The only small problem is batteries don’t last long. Must use a lot of voltages.

Works well but ear protection is a must. It is also a bit heavy. It is tough as nails.

Power! Lots and lots of power! You can move mulch with this! Fortunately, the trigger is variable so you can adjust the power.

The blower itself works great and has tons of power. That said, unless your lawn is a quarter of an acre or less, the battery will die on you. At full speed, the battery lasts about 15 minutes or so before it needs another charge, which is not ideal for larger lots and will have you constantly in a blow, wait for charge, blow cycle. Wish I had opted to spend the extra money and gotten the backpack, gas powered blowers.

Sure, battery life isn't great but battery life is directly proportional to the strength of the motor, and this one is a bruiser. It blows harder than any corded unit I had an is comparable to a 2 stroke gas engine - without the accompanying maintenance and starting issues (not to mention storing and mixing fuel). This blower will even blast embedded wet leaves from grass which is amazing. I can also use this instead of my snowblower if the snow if fluffy (wet snow requires a snowbower). I've only had this one year so I don't know how long the machine or the batteries will last, but this has the goods right now.

Very powerful but you only get 10 minutes of battery life then you have to recharge for an hour to use again. Had to buy 2 more batteries to be able to get work done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own alot of dewalt and repaired tools for a long time. This blower , I have 2 residential use. I use into dry cars off, blow snow. It gets used. No issues powerful. Only issue is run time. I traded up from the other style 60v blower had real good run time. New one out might try that one, just cuz.

It's a powerful leaf blower and it can move a sizeable pile of leaves. The only downfall is the battery doesn't last near as long as the advertisement in the store claims and it takes a couple hours to recharge.

It is a very good product but the battery doesn't last more than 10 min in max power, and I need at least 30 min to clean up my backyard leaves.. Because of that I had to change to a gas one. But if you're looking for a battery one to clean up a lot of leaves and you're sure that 10 min is enough for your land, go for it :)

So, the power is AWESOME, but what stinks is I’ve used it twice now after doing a full charge in the battery and both times it’s dead after 15 min. So hard to get all your work done.

Leaf blower worked well. Easy to assemble. Returned extra battery. Would not fit in blower.

I could move a big sailboat with this thing.

Powerful blower and convenient trigger lock, but the battery life is only good for 15 minutes.

It’s a little heavy, but the windspeed is impressive.

Battery does not hold a charge for very long

We bought the tool only because we had batteries. The blower has so much power. Take us half the time to clean up the yard even when leaves are wet. We have had it for a couple weeks now and are very happy with our purchase. So glad we got battery blower. No more gas. Delivered when it was due and arrived in great condition. Highly recommend it. Well worth it
