After requiring disabled access in a home location, this item was both useful and concealed its intent. Making a home easier to access with a very vain family member, is a challenging task at best. In loo of the standard large commercial looking bars you see in all public buildings, we used this toilet paper holder-access bar. Installtion does obviously require a solid mounting surface on at least one leg of the mount. They do provide a sheet rock friendly, anchor that appears to hold up very well. Only issue I really have is the cheap set screws and allen wrench they provided, which almost stripped. That being said the bar is very solid and has been used daily.

Picking this item up will tell you that this thing was made very well. I wanted to place this one in our powder room because our parents are getting older and could use the assistance to get up from the "sitting" position. As soon as I opened up the hardware, I knew I was going to have problems! The screws for this thing are massive! I get it...it's to carry the weight of a person leaning on it. The intention was for you to screw one side into a stud and the other would require the use of the anchor provided. I don't have extra paint so I have to install in the existing area. Because it only comes with one anchor, I'll have to head to home depot and pick up a second anchor to support the TP Holder!

This toilet paper roll holder is excellent. The material and build quality is excellent. The finish is even and looks great throughout. It has a glossy bronze finish. It comes with directions and parts for installation. It also comes with an allen key to complete the assembly. Installation of the special wall anchor is a bit difficult but doable. One side needs to be affixed to a wall stud and the other side has a special, heavy-duty, wall anchor. You will need a stud finder to find a stud in the wall for installation. As someone whose had spinal surgery, this is something I would put a lot of pressure on while going down onto the toilet and pulling myself up off the toilet, so finding an ideal location may mean you might have to open up the wall, add a wall stud laterally to two vertical wall studs and screw wood screws (which are included) where desired (and not use the wall anchor). It's very strong and heavy, and the upper bar is meant to be used as an assist bar. There is no flex with the assist bar. I like that the toilet paper roll holder flips up to remove the old toilet paper roll and put in a new toilet paper roll. Very easy to use. I am very satisfied with this toilet paper holder.

Delta has made a nice and strong toilet paper holder. It beats that cheap and light weight toilet paper holder that most people have in their home. To make it simple the only thing you need to do is to mount one side to a stud and drill a 1 inch hole for the provided anchor on the other side. It is well thought of and should handle a good amount of weight.

This is a real heavy duty toilet paper holder with an incorporated assist bar. The easy design to change a roll of paper is really nice. Just raise one side, no more two hands needed to change the old style push bar. I will need to reinforce the wall from behind the drywall to properly install this in my bathroom to make sure when using the assist bar is secure. Easy enough by installing a 2x4 from stud to stud. I highly recommend this product and it looks great. Delta has done a great job in matching fixtures this one is bronze.

Built like a tank. A lot of times, you can tell the quality of a product just by picking it up. That is definitely the case here. This unit is heavy. Not much fuss. It’s a straight forward design. There is one moving part. It is the swivel joint for the toilet paper. Take a look at my photo. This toilet paper holder swivels to put on a roll. It kind of cool and well engineered. The oil rubbed bronze finish is beautiful and it is the classic Delta quality that we all have come to know.

Wow! This is a really solid, heavy weight, well-made product. I was very impressed with the quality of the construction. As it is able to support a 300 lb. assist, it comes with hardware to mount it into a wall stud. It also can be mounted just in drywall if you do not require the assist function. Changing out the roll is just a simple lift of the bar - very easy and convenient (can be done with one hand.) I also discovered it has a surprise bonus function (probably unintended),as my cellphone fits perfectly on the top of the holder! Great product. I would definitely recommend it to others

It is a bit unusual type of connection for this toilet paper holder. The finish is a light bronze and unit is of sturdy construction, for assisting in helping up off the toilet seat. One thing I had angst with is drilling a 1 inch hole in my drywall to attached the vertical back plate. Not that drilling was a problem, I just don't like drilling that big of hole in my wall. If I had ceramic tile I would have a concern. The concept is for the vertical bracket to go thru the hole and hold on the back side of the drywall with a tiny bit of sticky tape. The issue I had was that there was insulation behind the drywall, making the bar difficult if not almost impossible to swing upward.I finally got to face upward, but never enough to have the sticky tape to hold. That made the bottom thread for the bolt difficult to stay up and forward so I could get to it. The instruction sheet print is small to read. After some time and handling, I finally got the bolt to the attachment plate and thru the plastic washer. The other end went into a stud. It took about 30 minutes overall. If I knew how much trouble of installation I might not get again. For those who need sturdy support this will work.

Very nice product...but the instructions and ALL I can find on line (after over an hour of searching EVERY thing out there), I can NOT figure out how to install without having 2 studs....and there is NO way most of us have 2 studs in our install! (unless you rip your wall down to add an extra stud 8 inches away from an existing stud, OR you are a new build). I am going to have to install in ONE stud and just a regular drywall hanger, which is NOT allowed per the instructions, but I have no choice.....way to hard...no info....no way to figure it out, and I am pretty bright and pretty handy. SHAME.... why isn't it easier??

Got this bronze color toilet paper today and boy I should say i was surprised. It is ridiculously heavy for a toilet paper holder. Don't know if that is good or bad, but looked very sturdy for me. The way it opens also is unusual and in a nice way. I like the way i can open it and refill it with toilet paper. Would recommend to those who crave for different n unique stuff in their home

Overall I really love the toilet paper Holder. The color wasn't identical to the picture shown. It looked gold tone but when I received it it was more of a pinkish beige or almost silver color. Maybe my idea of Champagne is different or distorted. The towel rack I received looked exactly the same color as the toilet paper holder but it seems to be better quality than the towel rack (even the weight was way different). It has a look of elegance to it and the feel of it is heavy and sturdy. It is really nice classy and strong. It is easy to put on the roll of paper. 5 stars for sure.

A very high quality toilet paper holder. It is well made and very durable with good weight to it. Very easy to install as it just takes a screwdriver and screws right into your wall. The appearance is very nice. It is shiny and really stands out. Very modern and stylish look to it. Easy to change rolls as holder comes out easily to place a new roll in holder.

Ok design and look. It is very simple and plain. The support is handy for helping you get up off the toilet seat. And the instructions say it can support up to 300 Lbs. indirect weight. meaning DO NOT put your full weight on this toilet paper holder. It is strictly for aiding and supporting you as you get up. If you need more support I suggest installing an additional support bar on the opposite side of the seat using the house's studs in the wall. Suggest to install at least one side into a stud or some sort of blocking for better support. There is a anchor bar included with instructions on how to install it behind the drywall where a house stud is not available. The instructions say to use a 1" Drill bit to make the hole big enough to get the anchor through the drywall. This does make a big hole and I did have a bit of trouble securing the mounting ring to the anchor without it going through the large hole. Just keep one hand on the white plastic arm that is attached to the anchor so you do not lose it behind the drywall. Have all your required screws, screw driver, and mounting ring etc. ready before placing the anchor through the drywall hole and take your time.

Really high end and modern toilet paper holder that also doubles as a 300 ld. assist bar. This is perfect for anyone needing assist sitting on and getting back off their toilet. This is also great to have when you have small children in the house. Smaller children tend to pull and hang on things and of course they like to play with the TP rolls. We are installing it for the bathroom that our grandchildren use when they are at our house. Included with the holder is large screws to attached directly to the wall joist. For the other end they have included a very beefy bar to support from behind the drywall. To attach you will need to drill a 1" hold to fit the support bar behind the drywall. This is a very nice design and works well. I have no doubt that the weight capacity of this TP holder is 300 pounds as advertised. The look of this holder is modern and should last for decades, see photos. This is actually very heavy because of how well it is made. It as double boxed for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. The holder has the support bar and below that is where we put the Toilet paper, this lifts up for easy replacement of the Toilet Paper. The instructions are pretty good and were easy for me to follow. We strongly recommend this, it is worth the price.

ITS CHROME FINISH WILL GO WELL IN A LOT OF DECORS. I REALLY LIKE THE WAY YOU LIFT THE PAPER ROLL BAR TO LOAD THE TOILET PAPER THEN IT SNAPS SHUT. THE MOUNTING HARDWARE IS INCLUDED AND HIDDEN FROM VIEW ONCE PROPERLY INSTALLED. BEING A SENIOR MYSELF I THINK THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. IM INSTALLING THESE IN ALL MY BATHROOMS TO HELP PREVENT ANY FUTURE ISSUES.

This thing is surprisingly heavy...4+ lbs....rated at 300 lbs. use. Very attractive & substantial feeling. The top bar is a security grab bar, the bottom a tp holder. I ordered this mostly for the matching color to my Delta Lahara champagne bronze collection. It would have been a nice match if I could have used it, but this fixture needs to be mounted to a flat wall surface, it can't be under-mounted, & that's what my space would require. The tp holder rod rotates up & away (see pic) to load, which is a very convenient feature, but does need a flat wall surface to be stable. Ah, well.......nice fixture.

the Delta contemporary toilet paper holder with assist bar is the most functional dual purpose bath accessory i have seen in a long time. i ordered it to use in a master bath renovation because it is a close match that compliments the Delta Lyndall sliding shower doors in nickel finish and the other nickel finish fixtures i have used for this project. it is made with heavy weight rust resistant stainless steel, is very sturdy and is actually quite stylish. my wife is 5' 2" tall and has always complained about comfort height toilets being to tall for short people to use and this has made it much easier for her. it came with good instructions and all necessary mounting hardware and i am completely satisfied with this high quality product.

I have to start off by saying Delta is killing it with their new designs. The details and quality of these products have been amazing. The DECOR ASSIST CONTEMPORARY TOILET PAPER HOLDER WITH ASSIST BAR IN STAINLESS is not only gorgeous, but it has multiple purposes. It holds your toilet paper roll and also serves as an assist handle to help you lift yourself off the toilet. Brilliant!! I’ve already mentioned that it has a beautiful design, but it’s extremely sturdy as well. Very heavy for a toilet paper holder. 1/4” lag screws are provided for stud installation. Instructions are easy to follow. Took me less than 5 mins to install. The novice DIY-er would’ve able to install it themselves. I recommend this and all Delta bathroom accessories to anyone who wants to update/upgrade their bathrooms. For the price and great quality, you can’t go wrong choosing Delta. I’d give more than 5 stars if I could!

We were looking for a toilet paper holder for our physically disabled son who experiences balance issues. This strong assistance bar gives him a way to steady himself, but it still looks very stylish. We also wanted a holder that would accommodate today's larger toilet paper rolls. This one has plenty of space between the roller bar and the wall, as well as being longer from side-to-side. One thing for buyers to be aware of/prepared for - to ensure the most secure installation is to locate and screw into the wall studs.
