Gotten this pump when my old one gave out. Worked fine then just kept cutting my water off for few minutes. Thought it was my power ran new wire that didn’t fix the problem. Redone the pipes and the foot valve still did fix it. Finally pump gave out called and gotten a warranty replacement. I got the replacement and went home put it on and nothing pump kept running would not shut off. Went and bout a new pressure switch. Gave up and bought a different brand pump. DONT BUY THIS BRAND

Bought and had this pump installed only to find the "humming" described in the manual as a failure to start was a regular occurrence. I hoped after running a few days it may get better but two weeks in no luck. Daily this pump needs to be addressed to get it to run, by sticking a screwdriver into the motor AS INSTRUCTED TO IN THE MANUAL. If I had read the yellow sticker on the pump instructing you to do so, I would have promptly returned to the store before installing!

I used this pump to replace a previous pump that had started leaking from the housing after it had run dry. My setup is a large water tank and this provides pressure into a pressure tank that then feeds my house. The swap over was simple and the wiring was really easy. I’m using it as a 240v pump and it was easy to set that up. The pump is about an average noise level and I’ve had no issues with leaking or pressure levels since I’ve installed it. The pump was easy to convert.

This great Everbilt fresh water Convertible Jet pump is ideal for so many uses, including swimming pools, but also hydroponic circulation needs. On a well built cast iron frame well finished, and with a regulator and pressure gauge (which along with electrical wiring is the main assembly outside the installation use). Easy install, quality made, powerful 3/4 horse power, 8 gallons a minute pumping power.

I have used this type of pump for years as booster pumps. I have a low flow well so I pump into a holding tank and then use these pumps to boost to the house and they work really good. This one is for both shallow and what they consider deep wells.(Up to 175 foot). The end unbolts from the pump and then you put a device in it for the deep part. The part you unbolted from the pump body then goes into the well with two pipes. This is the jet pump part of the set up. The housing is cast iron, which for me is a plus, making it more durable. The pump came with a pressure gauge as well. It’s not a high budget one, but will do the job at setup. My experience is that this level of gauge isn’t the best long term. It also comes with a second plastic/vinyl tube for the pressure sensor. To be honest, I’m not overly excited about the plastic tube, but that’s the standard today. This pump is selectable for 120vac or 240vac and is changeable by removing a cover and simply sliding a switch. There is directions on the pump housing. It has a standard pressure switch setup, which is easy to adjust. It comes preset with the spec in the instructions. It does come with a good set of instructions. This pump is pretty universal. Durability is yet to be determined, but if it performs like the last one I had like this, it will be many year’s before I’ll need to worry about it. I do water a small lawn and garden every year as well as the household stuff.

The Everbuilt 1 HP Jet Pump is just as described, it is 1HP and has all cast iron construction. It can be used with either 230v or 120v and carries a 1 year warranty. The unit comes with installation instructions but unless you are well versed in plumbing the installation is best left up to a professional. I am using the pump at 120v and for a 25' depth shallow well. Once installed I primed the pump and it started pumping water very quickly at 65psi. I used it every day for almost 3 weeks and it worked perfect. I the did not need to use it for 2 weeks and after it sat when I went to restart it the pump would hum and it would not start! I got the instructions out and under trouble shooting the first problem was "Pump Humming". The corrective action was to use a flat head screwdriver and turn the motor shaft through the center hole in the motor cap. I did the corrective action and it began working again. The issue I have with the pump is if it sits for over 2 weeks I have to turn the motor shaft with a screwdriver for the motor to start -very frustrating. This is the second one of these pumps I have and they both have the same problem. I can recommend this pump if it is used on a daily or weekly basis but if it sits for a couple of weeks make sure you have a screwdriver handy. Everbuilt needs to look into that issue and unfortunately due to that issue I can only give it 2 stars.

This is a great pump. Made of heavy duty long lasting cast iron. It is one horse power and can discharge 14 gallons per minute flow rate. It is a convertible jet pump that can work at depths of water to 70 ft. Or less. It also has a built in 30/50 psi pressure switch for automatic operation with a pressure gage. It has a 162 foot vertical lift. It also comes with a 1 year warranty.

What a very well made pump. This should be a well pump that will last you many many years. Replacing my old well for my sprinkler system and this does the trick. Comes complete with everything you need for shallow or up to 70 foot of draw including a pressure gauge and shut off. This can be ran with either 2:30 or 115 volt. It sets up at 230 but you can switch it over to the lower voltage if you do not have the proper power available. This is a great buy and great value.

I live on what was a ranch with a 10 acre plant nursery but most of the land and the cows are gone due to development. I have several wells and most aren’t used but I needed a small pump in addition to a submersible I already have for my home irrigation system. I decided that the Everbilt one horse power convertible jet pump was a good product for what I was doing. My well is 240 feet deep, but in this case it is an artesian (spring fed) well so depth doesn’t matter. As I expected, the pump is working great with no issues. I did have to make a box to protect the pump from weather. I chose this pump as it had a lot of great features. It is self-priming after initial start-up, it is convertible for shallow or deep applications, very solidly made with a cast iron housing and has a one year warranty. My well system works at 40 to 60 PSI and the pump comes set for 30 to 50 PSI but switching it was a simple adjustment. It basically comes with everything you will need but you will definitely have to buy and install an intake check valve or it won’t be self-priming. I have installed many pumps but the directions are good and easy to follow even if you have never installed one. I recommend this pump as a good buy.

This review is for the Everbilt 1 HP Convertible Jet Pump. We need to replace 2 of our well pumps, which are old and either don’t work or struggle to work. This one is more HP than we actually need, but it’s better to go up than down. If you’ve ever installed well pumps before I’m sure this would be a simple switch out (of brands may differ). We’ve actually never had to replace a well pump before but we are “mechanical” & “electrical” thinkers and found this to be no overly difficult. The old pump was a different brand but I guess they are a like in the most important ways (for installation). We’ve used other Everbilt products and found them to be reliable however, at this point I can’t speak to the durability of this pump. Also, the other pump (the one we replaced) was not in a well house and exposed to the elements so we’ve built a well house for this one. No issues with the set up (I like being able to decide on the voltage) and it works as it should; instructions were sufficient.

Reviewers total about a 4.0 star rating of this unit. So far, it has worked flawlessly, but it is under an easy load. I'm grateful that home depot carries these in stock. It's great to just run up and buy one in emergency, like I had been. It's super heavy at 42lbs in the box. It think it is expensive, but a necessary item to buy if your in the situation for one!

I chose the Everbilt 1 horsepower convertible Jet pump for a backup for my lawn and garden watering needs. I like that the pump is convertible from shallow well to deep well applications with the included deep well kit. I also like that the pump is made of cast-iron for durability. I also like that the pumps motor can be wired either 115 volts or 230 volts, which is how the motor comes from the factory.

I decided on this choice of jet pump having previous and on going experience with this brand. Hubby installed one, less horsepower, a few years ago for pumping water to our seasonal house. We haven't had any issues with that one but the flow could be better hence the larger 1 hp should remedy the situation. Heavy duty cast iron made for the long haul, it seems. It arrived very well packaged and no damage during shipment. I've read where rusting might occur over time but can say that hasn't been a problem with the existing pump so far. Detailed instructions included as are tutorials on installations are readily available for most DIY's! Not overly noisy. Overall, good product for a reasonable cost.

We installed the pump October 2022 and in February 2023 the pump started leaking. I just called Everbuilt pumps and was told I would have to take the pump apart to diagnose the leak and re-seat the seal before they could give and warranty support. I have checked all the fittings and verified that the water is coming from the bottom of the pump. It ridiculous that on a $400 pump I would have to uninstall the pump and take the pump apart to get warranty support after only 5 months of use.

I bought the Everbilt 1HP to upgrade and old one that came with my house, it wasn’t building up pressure anymore. I set it up sweated all the pipes, I used it for 3 weeks and it was leaking from the inside out. I tightened everything I could to no avail. I unsweated the pipes and brought it back for a replacement. Installed the new one, it worked for about 2 1/2 months and the motor ceased. I just ordered a replacement from another manufacturer, I can’t keep redoing all plumbing.

I received the EVERBILT 3/4 HP CONVERTIBLE JET PUMP to test for Home Depot. I have just done the install and it works great! I like that it is cast iron and also you have the ability to wire it as 230 volts or 115 volts. I used the preset at 230. I am going to install a pressure gauge and expansion tank so I can run my sprinklers. We have a very shallow water table here (15 feet) and this thing is a champ. I am looking for many years of service from this.

This product is a well pump. It can also be used for other things. But you probably already knew that, that's why you're here! We've been using it as a sump pump for water drainage during those stormy rainy days when it floods in our yard, and it exceeds expectations. The amount of water it chugs out in such little time is impressive. We did have to buy some extra fittings and tubings to make this work. It is really well made, and really gets the job done. It also includes a gauge for reference. Overall a great product and works really well.

The Everbilt 3/4 horsepower convertible jet pump is a solid and serious piece of equipment that is designed to last. It is heavy and substantial being constructed of cast iron! The instructions are thorough and easy to follow. A few things to make note of that I'd like to point out... The pump comes preset at 230 volts so be sure to adjust it accordingly. Also, to save you a trip back to the store, this DOES NOT come with a power supply cord so be sure to grab an appropriate one before beginning your installation process.

This review is for the Everbilt ¾ HP Jet pump. The pump can be used on either a shallow or deep well depending on which nozzle and venturi you use on the pump. The installation manual is very detailed and gives step by instructions for both shallow and deep well installation. The unit is dual voltage (115/230v) and has a 100psi pressure gauge. I am using my pump for a deep well (approx. 70ft). The installation took me 2 8hr. days and several trips to home depot for additional supplies. It was not an easy install and probably best left to a pro but I am satisfied with my results!

I got this jet pump to replace a broken 20 year old 1/2 hp pump at our cabin. Installation was straight forward and would have been easier if the well wasn't in a hole 6 feet below grade. Not the new pump's fault though (frost line is 48" here). The instructions are very thorough and very helpful. We installed this with out the included venturi valve and wired it for 220v. So far it works great and has had no issues. I may climb back down and install the venturi in the summer for lawn watering as it can significantly increase flow, but for now the pump delivers plenty of water to shower, run dishwasher, and flush toilet all at the same time. Overall this is a fantastic pump and will serve us for many years to come.

WOW! Massive volume of water from 23 feet. Raw water flow without pressure tank is incredible. Also incredible is how quiet the pump is. Obviously it will work harder when connected to the pressure tank, but my primary first concern was finding water and the second concern was pumping it out before making permanent connections. My flow was 8.7 gallons per minute with a 115 volt power source. All connections were made as per the instructions, and the instructions are beautiful. Also beautiful are the electrical connections. There is zero concern this pump is going to supply our needs for lawn and garden watering and them some. It is a beautiful addition to our main well to take extra work away from the deep well.

This is an extremely well built convertible jet pump. The whole casing is made out of a thick cast iron and the motor is heavy and well made too. With the capability of pulling water from 90 ft below the surface, this should be plenty of power to pump water from the shallow sand point well I plan to use it for. The pressure gauge is included in the kit and is very legible. This unit also has a voltage selector meaning you can run it on 110 v or 220v.

This cast-iron convertible jet pump is big and heavy. This pump can discharge up to 10 gallons per minute. You can use this in shallow or deep well ejectors. It is heavy and rugged. The 3/4 HP can provide up to 40 feet of vertical lift if needed. When using outdoors it's best to cover up the pump for protection from the weather. I like this pump but it is very heavy.

I recommend getting this pump professionally installed. It is a well built with high quality components that should last for many years. This pump is quieter than I expected. Don’t forget to put a cover over the pump to protect it from the weather. I am very happy with this pump and recommend it for your well pumping needs. You won’t go wrong with this pump.

You cannot go wrong with an Everbilt product, and this pump is well built. This thing is a beast. I have only had the chance so far to test it out in a temporary setup, but the result was impressive. It comes preset for use in a shallow well, but is easily converted for deeper well use (up to 70 feet I believe). It is dual voltage and has a pressure switch for adjustment.

This is a great shallow well or surface pump. The cast iron body is very stout and durable and comes with holes for mounting the unit to concrete. The manual is very detailed and is a good set of instructions for either setup - shallow well or surface. This would be a great option for pumping water to livestock from a well or pond/lake. It’s got plenty of horsepower to pull water and keep it moving.

I installed the EVERBILT 1 HP CONVERTIBLE JET PUMP on a deep well and it worked perfectly from the time I started it. The pump is much quieter then the pump that it replaced which was quite old. Hoping that this pump will give as many years of service as the old one did. Either way the fact of it being quieter is a great plus in my book as the pump is located in the cellar by a beam.

Everbilt 1 horse jet pump is a very nice pump for shallow well or a little deeper wells also it come with a different injector for the wells deeper than 25 feet up to 75 feet. It also set up for 120 or 240 very easy to change over. It comes set for shallow well and 115 volts but can be switched easy. All cast iron very heavy duty. Install was very easy prime it one time and picked water right up. Excellent pump for less cost than other brands and it is very well worth the money. You wont be disappointed.

This 1 HP convertible jet pump is a high quality product that is expected from a trusted company as EVERBILT. This is a great pump for a shallow or deep well.this is a dual voltage pump 115/230v. Which is preset to 230v. It also has a 30/50 psi pressure switch. The pump is preset for shallow well application. All in all this is what I want when I need to pump.

For deep well applications with water depths over 25 ft. to 70 ft., the venturi and nozzle are placed in the well on the piping.
