I gave it one star but read review 5 star product
I need a long rod 9 feet, this worked perfect, what I did I used the Heavey Duty Brackets and placed the rod in the J of the bracket working just great.

A well-made product that is as good as advertised. For my application, I needed the "heavy duty" rod, but could not find them in 72" to 120" length. Ended up "sleeving" the standard rod with a heavy duty 48" to 72". Worked great.

I used it as an outdoor curtain rod for my patio to hang some 1inch grommet curtains and it worked like a charm! This is a great hack and a huge money saver. Just be careful when installing, mounting pieces are slightly different sizes to fit the two different size rods that fit into each other. I was installing multiple rods and ended up mixing them up.

Home Depot wastes my time again!
This item is advertised with a package that includes round mounting brackets for attaching it to the wall. The brackets don't even fit this rod.

Not 100%
So I like this closet rod, it's sturdy, it's long, it looked great when I bought it.
Then I tried to install it and realized there was no way to lock it in place. Ended up needing to drill a hole and secure it in place with a machine screw.
Definitely a big issue.
