Customer Reviews for HOOVER ONEPWR Evolve Pet Cordless Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Lithium-Ion Battery

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second one I purchased, but this one is not as powerful as the first one I bought. I'm disappointed.

This product is excellent. The suction is great and I find that it really does well picking up pet hair. We use it mostly on hardwood floors, but we do have some carpets and it works well on both. The cordless nature of this product makes it even better and really increases the convenience. It's ultra light and has a really good capacity. I find that I can get even messes that are embedded into the carpet up very nicely. We are very happy with this product!

Let's start with good this product on paper fit the criteria of the vacuum we were looking to be a light weight daily user for medium cleaning, in practice not so much. There seems to be a problem with the durability of the brush roller, which is bad enough. What is worse is trying to purchase a replacement for the brush roller which has been an ongoing issue and because we bought a second one for the upper floor of our house it is doubly so. In seems the part is out of stock for long periods of time and the company can't even forecast a date for it to be available. They will of course tell you how sorry they are and just to keep checking back for when it is available. This last saga started around Christmas it is now the middle of March. I firmly believe product without service to back it has a value less that zero. If you want a better buying experience you may be advised to look elsewhere.

Only had the vacuum for 6 months and regularly empty and clean the brushroll but this month the brushroll stopped working and when I open to clean it nothing is stuck just the motor that keeps making a loud grinding noise. I believe the product is under warranty but it has been incredibly difficult to reach any Hoover customer service.

The product worked pretty well, but it broke within a year and Hoover won't send me a new one without a receipt, even though they have my purchase order on file.

I received this cleaner in June of last year at a Walsh Hoover outting. And, it stopped running. Talked to customer service and said because I got at a drawing, there's no warranty. Please help me with this problem.

I was sent this vacuum to replace a broken ONEPWR HEPA vac that I really loved. Hoover discontinued the HEPA bagged cordless vacuum which really disappoints me. The Pet Cordless, while easy to maneuver and lightweight just does not pick up nearly as well. And I really don't like canister vacuums no matter how big they are. This vacuum just doesn't meet my needs - waiting on a suitable bagged cordless vacuum to come on the market. :(

Hose and fitting above/to power-head cracked in 6 places in the three weeks. It's had purple duct tape ever since. After two weeks, where's the washable filter option, I live in the dustiest town ever‍♀️

And at my age believe me I've had plenty and now I just can't use a heavy one. This is awesome! Bought 7 or 8 months ago.

I bought the Hoover Linx for years and they were great. Since they no longer make them tried this. The settings are useless and now the power button does not work, so I have a useless vacuum now. I would not recommend this and wish Hoover would go back to the Linx model.

The hose will start to get stiff within 6 months so the brush has no pressure on the floor. if you try to stretch it it will rip and cannot be replaced. Hoover doesn't sell the part. The vacuum cannot be repaired is garbage at that point.

I filed a claim after using this vacuum for 10 days and the rotating brush stopped working and made a loud grinding noise. While Hoover did replace the vacuum, the replacement is having the same issue. This seems to occur when used on carpet. Works well on hard surfaces but if it is taxed at all, it simply quits working.

So light weight it jumps as attempting to vacuum carpets!!! I have owned two Windtunnel cordless for over 12 years with no complaints sorry I cannot say the same for the Onepwr cordless!!

This vacuum constantly clogs. We have used it on both tile and carpet and it is not picking up well on either. Also, the battery does not light up to show the charge. We’ve had it for about 2 months and will be returning to the store.

This one I purchased as a Christmas gift when a family member used mine and raved about it. I have had numerous friends and family who have went crazy over this little vacuum and I completely agree. It is light and easy to maneuver and the battery stays charged for a long time. I have hardwood and three animals that shed year round, my One PWR gets a lot of use everyday and it has been a lifesaver as well as a money and time saver. So much better than floor dust cloths, so much easier than lugging out the big vacuum. This little powerhouse is amazing. I plan to buy another for my daughter in law. You won't be disappointed.
