Hi there, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review for your washer. Sorry to hear about the issues you've had with your unit, we're sure this would be frustrating to deal with. You are able to add clothing to the washer after a cycle has started if you've forgotten something. To do so, press Start/Pause if the lid is locked; wait until the Lid Lock indicator on the display is no longer illuminated before attempting to open the lid. Then, you can lift the lid and submerge additional items around the outside of the basket. After that, close the lid and press Start to resume. For the out of balance issues, loading properly and making sure your washer is level are very important. Hello - We're sorry to hear that your clothes are not distributing evenly inside the basket during a wash. We can understand how frustrating that would be to need to babysit your washer, and this is not the experience we want you to have. We apologize for the trouble this has caused and would love to help. Ensure the unit is level and all four leveling legs are firmly on the floor. If it's not, adjust all four leveling legs until the washer is level left-to-right and front-to-back. To level the washer, adjust the leveling legs by rotating the individual leg in the proper direction for up or down. If this does not fix the issue, service may be needed.
